| As the development stage of urban space moves from incremental expansion to stock optimization,the functions in cities need to be improved in quality and efficiency,and the mixed use of functions is an important way to improve quality and efficiency;At the same time,in order to ensure the vitality of the region and effectively improve the land use efficiency of the region,functional mixing is also receiving increasing attention and has great potential for development.The relevant regulations and standards in our country encourage the mixed use of land and facility functions,which has played a certain guiding role in the layout of mixed functions.However,many cities still lack response to the current situation and demand issues of mixed functions,leading to problems such as lack of functions,mismatch between supply and demand,and inconvenience in use.Based on relevant research,it has been found that domestic and international research has mostly focused on the study of large-scale functional mixing,while there is less research on small-scale related issues,such as block scale.Based on this,this article takes the residential blocks in the old city of Xi’an as the research object,and conducts a detailed study on the current situation,characteristics,and causes of functional mixing.It explores the characteristics of land use and facility functional mixing in the residential blocks in the old city of Xi’an,with the aim of having important practical significance for the future development of the old city.Firstly,by analyzing the current construction characteristics of residential blocks in the old city of Xi’an,the location characteristics,spatial form,overall functional use,and subjective feelings of residents were analyzed.It was found that residential blocks in the old city of Xi’an are mainly distributed in the periphery of the old city,with a majority on the west side of the old city;There are many mixed types of land use and facility functions in the block,and overall residents’ satisfaction is high,but the satisfaction is relatively low in residential blocks near Sajinqiao.Secondly,a detailed study was conducted on the mixed types,proportions,mixed quantities,and layout forms of land and facility functions in the residential blocks of the old city of Xi’an.It was found that there are certain differences between the mixed diversity of facility functions and the mixed diversity of land functions.The mixed functional layout of residential blocks is mostly comprehensive,while the mixed functional layout of facilities is mostly distributed along the street interface.It also explores the relationship between the block scale,Floor area ratio,average number of floors,and bus stop accessibility and the mixed diversity of land use and facility functions to varying degrees.Then,based on the two indicators of functional mixed comprehensive diversity and residents’ satisfaction,the quadrant method is used to divide the residential blocks in the old city of Xi’an into four types.Finally,based on the four types of functional hybrid organizational characteristics summarized and summarized,and briefly describe the main reasons for their formation.At the same time,through investigation,it was found that there are problems with the current situation of residential blocks.Based on the types of residential blocks,they can be divided into two categories:"low/high diversity high satisfaction" residential blocks with poor construction quality and poor road network,lack of functions,and "low/high diversity low satisfaction" residential blocks with poor construction quality.Based on the above analysis results,suggestions are proposed for the mixed optimization of the functions of residential blocks in the old city of Xi’an from the aspects of street network,functional spatial layout,and functional category composition.And specific optimization and implementation will be carried out for two types of residential blocks with different problems in the current situation of the old city of Xi’an. |
