| With the development of scientific and technological information and the rapid advancement of urbanization,people’s learning style and learning needs have been greatly affected.Learning is no longer the traditional way to improve their own competitiveness in employment.Compared with this,the cultivation of personal quality is more concerned by people.For learning,more role is to cultivate comprehensive ability,improve individual cultural quality,enrich the spiritual and cultural world.Moreover,urban learning space should not be the traditional and physical indoor space,but a more comprehensive shared space that transcends physical boundaries and spatial boundaries.Therefore,the key content of this study is to explore how to make urban outdoor learning space more adaptable,in line with the needs of social development and learners’ personal development,so as to make urban outdoor space meet the diverse needs of learners and realize the innovative development of learning space.This study takes urban outdoor learning space as the research object,through literature review,field investigation,simulation and other research methods,firstly summarizes the development process of outdoor learning space and domestic and foreign outdoor learning space related theoretical research,and defines the concept of urban outdoor learning space.Based on the theory of learning behavior and learning space,this study analyzes the characteristics and types of urban outdoor space.Therefore,it puts forward two specific issues of learning subject and external carrier,which is a powerful theoretical basis for designing urban outdoor learning space.Secondly,this study investigates and analyzes the outdoor learning space in Xi ’an(the 1.5km area radiating around the intersection of Xiaozhai Road and Chang ’anRoad)from two perspectives:the needs of learning subjects and the functions of external carriers.Furthermore,the design requirements of urban outdoor learning space are clarified through intensive research on three types of typical spaces.Thirdly,based on the research results,this study plans six design principles,three main contents and space design methods under different locations,privacy and structure layout of urban outdoor learning space.Moreover,four strategies are proposed to enhance the property of space furniture,optimize the overall layout of space,establish space resource platform and enhance the consciousness of space subject.Finally,the above four strategies proposed are designed and practiced in three types of typical learning spaces in Xi’an.This study practices the landscape design scheme of Xi’an outdoor learning space,and predicts the changes of learners’ behaviors in each space from the influencing factors of learning space.Based on this,it proposes learning functional design schemes of environmental facilities in three types of outdoor learning spaces.This study has carried out detailed design from macro planning layout to micro space construction,fully exploring the learning behavior of different urban groups and the learning function of urban outdoor space,so as to meet people’s time and space needs.This study provides suggestions for the improvement of lifelong education system and the design,planning and development of urban outdoor learning space to meet the time and space needs of lifelong learning. |
