Analysis Of Chinese Enterprises’ Investment In Laos Under The Background Of "One Belt And One Road"

In recent years,China to Laos investment more and more,every year there are a large number of Chinese companies invest in Laos and the production and business operation,after decades of Laos the development of economy and trade,the Chinese enterprises has become an important force in the social development of Laos,help Laos have improved a lot in social and economic development,also in Laos local obtained certain social influence.However,due to the excessive pursuit of profits by some private Chinese enterprises,there have been some problems in the operation of Laos,such as harsh treatment of workers,environmental pollution and production safety accidents,which have repeatedly damaged the overall image of Chinese enterprises.In this process,Lao people,society and government gradually began to worry about the corporate responsibility of Chinese enterprises in Laos,which is not conducive to the longterm development of Chinese enterprises in Laos.Therefore,this paper studies the current situation of Chinese enterprises’ investment in Laos and combines it with the investment environment in Laos.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the process of Chinese enterprises investing in China,mainly including enterprises’ insufficient responsibility for public welfare and charity,lack of awareness of environmental protection actions,disregard for labor laws and insufficient participation of third parties in supervision.In view of the various problems faced by Chinese enterprises in the investment process of China,this paper puts forward some suggestions from the three aspects of Chinese enterprises,the Lao government and industry associations.These strategies include enterprises actively practicing corporate responsibility,coordinating the relationship between stakeholders,implementing local investment strategies in Laos,expanding investment areas,strengthening institutional construction,perfecting relevant laws and regulations,and industry associations should further strengthen their functions.In this way,Chinese enterprises will be able to achieve better development in Laos.In this process,Chinese enterprises and Laos will be able to make progress and develop together.
