A Study On The "Locality" Of The Interior Design Of The Community Service Center In Daji Township,Jingning She Ethnic Area

In recent years,with a series of policy directions such as "new rural construction","beautiful countryside",and "rural revitalization",the protection and renewal of traditional villages have ushered in development opportunities,but also face new problems.On the one hand,many villages have experienced a large number of convergence phenomena in the construction and transformation of urbanization,leading to the gradual loss of local cultural characteristics in village environmental design;On the other hand,in the fields of architecture and industrial design,a series of discussions have been held in the academic community regarding the theory of"locality",and a practical wave of "locality" design has been sparked in the process of empowering rural revitalization through design.The theoretical research on "local"design in indoor public space design is still limited to the traditional concept of regional design.Therefore,this article explores the "local" strategy for the design of community service centers in Daji Township,Jingning She Ethnic Area,and conducts a feasibility analysis of the application of the "local" theory in design practice.This article is divided into five parts,conducting thematic research from two levels:theoretical analysis and design practice.Firstly,based on existing research results both domestically and internationally,the article systematically explains and analyzes the concepts and related theories of locality theory and community service centers.It distinguishes the design concepts of "locality","regionalism",and "critical regionalism",and emphasizes the importance and practical value of locality design for modern rural interior design,aiming to provide theoretical support and research foundation for design practice;Secondly,the paper analyzed the settlement characteristics,architectural style,and development status of Daji Township of the She ethnic group in Jingning through on-site research.From the four principles of adapting to local conditions,improving people’s livelihoods,cultural regeneration,and using local materials,as well as the analysis of ecological environment characteristics,historical and cultural characteristics,and residents’ demand characteristics,a practical system for local design of Jingning She ethnic group rural areas was constructed.The condensed design strategy was applied to the design practice of Daji Township Community Service Center.The research purpose and significance of the paper lies in enriching the theory of"locality".By sorting out and researching the history of Daji Township of the She ethnic group in Jingning,it provides basic materials for relevant research that can be used for reference.It helps to inherit and promote the excellent traditional culture in the local area,and promotes the revitalization of regional culture.
