A Study On The Revival And Revitalization Strategy Of Traditional Villages In Weibei Based On Symbiosis Theory

With the accelerating urbanization process and the advent of the information age,traditional villages,which have been the basic unit of agricultural production for thousands of years,are gradually declining and even dying out under the huge pull of the city and the contradictory forces of people and land within traditional villages,and the historical civilization,traditional building wisdom,and material and intangible cultural heritage they carry are also being destroyed.As an important product of China’s agrarian civilization,the traditional village carries the profound sentiments of the Chinese people and the memory of the long history of the Chinese nation,and its protection and development should not be delayed.At present,the effectiveness of the protection of traditional villages in China is not significant.The protection of villages is mainly based on the repair of single buildings or the improvement of the village environment,and only focuses on the current architectural quality,public service facilities and infrastructure of the village to carry out a pattern of upgrading and transformation.At this stage,the most fundamental changes in traditional villages are no longer limited to the physical state of buildings and streets,but need to go beyond the traditional protection of physical forms and focus on people,society,culture and economy in order to achieve a comprehensive revival of traditional villages.As a complete system comprising multiple elements,traditional villages are interlocking and mutually reinforcing,and only by coordinating the relationship between the various variables can the dual objectives of conservation and utilization be achieved.By introducing the symbiosis theory,this paper applies the relevant theories and methods to solve the problems and contradictions in traditional villages from a more macro and systematic perspective.Based on the progress of symbiosis theory research,the symbiosis theory is systematized into a single symbiosis system and a multiple symbiosis system based on the complexity and actual situation of the research objects,and an external symbiosis system between traditional villages and the attached cities as well as an internal symbiosis system of traditional villages is established to realize the revitalization and revitalization of traditional villages.In the external symbiosis system of traditional villages and cities,based on the analysis and research of the current situation,the city(Fuping County City)and traditional villages(Lianhu Village)are regarded as different symbiotic units,building a symbiosis in which the city uses its advantageous resources to promote the revival of Lianhu Village and enhance its development vitality,while Lianhu Village meets the cultural needs of Fuping County City through the development and inheritance of its cultural characteristics.In the context of the symbiotic environment of policy and economy,the current situation of the symbiosis between Lianhu Village and its affiliated city Fuping is analysed and the problems of each are sorted out.The study found that Lianhu Village and the city are in a state of partial symbiosis,with uneven energy flow between the symbiotic units,a symbiotic environment to be improved,and difficulties in transforming the symbiotic model.The main reasons for this are the rapid expansion of the urban scale in Fuping County,the difficulty in preserving the original pattern,the focus on historical relics and the lack of systemic thinking;secondly,there are problems with the decay of the physical form of Lianhu Village,the disintegration of the village social system and the poor management of village development.In the internal symbiosis system of Lianhu Village,the multiple interests involved in the development of the village are regarded as different symbiotic units,and their values and interests are clarified in the symbiotic environment of the declining vernacular society,so as to analyse the current situation of symbiosis within Lianhu Village and sort out the existing problems.The study concludes that the various stakeholders in Lianhu Village are in a state of primary asymmetrical reciprocal symbiosis,and have not yet reached the optimal symbiosis mode,with the absence of multiple symbiotic subjects,the decline of the village symbiosis environment,and the urgent need to reshape the symbiosis mode.The main reasons for this are: the lack of coordination mechanisms among multiple interest players,the lack of social capital investment guarantee mechanisms,the lack of voice of villagers and the marginalization of the village,and the lack of restraint and incentive mechanisms in the village.Through the analysis of the external symbiosis system of Lianhu Village and the city,and the analysis of its own internal symbiosis system,we propose strategies for the revitalization and revitalization of Lianhu Village from two dimensions,in response to the current problems of the internal and external symbiosis systems.The internal revitalization strategy focuses on the coordination of symbiotic units,the strengthening of the symbiotic environment and the optimization of the symbiotic model.Coordinating the symbiosis unit focuses on the collaborative governance of the village by multiple actors,guiding them to participate efficiently,bringing their respective strengths into play,bridging the shortcomings and deficiencies in governance,balancing the interests and aspirations of all parties,and forming a synergy to seek a win-win situation.The strengthening of the symbiotic environment focuses on the physical environment of the village,the spiritual environment of the villagers and the institutional environment of the upper levels,and improves the living standards of the village through the renovation of infrastructure,the repair of buildings and the pattern of streets and alleys;through measures such as vigorously promoting the intangible cultural heritage of the village,such as the A-gong cavity and the red fist,adjusting the village rules and regulations,and promoting traditional culture,it reconstructs the self-governance of the traditional village based on blood,local and business relations.Social relations.The upper level of the institutional environment focuses on exploring ways to transfer village land in order to revitalize unused resources,and improving the policy of census on the property rights of traditional buildings in order to protect the historical heritage of villages.The optimization of the coexistence model is based on the construction of interest linkages and mutual checks and balances between multiple interests,the coordination of responsibility boundaries,and the resolution of conflicts in the development of the village through synergy and consensus,in order to seek the greatest common denominator.The symbiosis strategy between Lianhu Village and the outside of the city focuses on regional joint development,responding to villagers’ needs,exploring special industries,raising funds for conservation,and participation of multiple parties in joint construction.The main focus of the regional linkage development is to establish a holistic conservation planning system for traditional villages on a macro scale,to explore the historical heritage and resource endowments of the traditional village clusters and to establish a good interaction with the village clusters in the surrounding areas,and to explore holistic and diversified ways of conservation and utilization of traditional villages at the regional level.Responding to the needs of villagers by improving the living environment,facilities and architectural quality of the villagers,the traditional houses will be better adapted to the contemporary needs of the villagers’ living environment,thus generating a continuous endogenous impetus for the sustainable development of Lianhu Village.Based on the current development situation,we explore the industrial development of Lianhu Village from two dimensions to promote the economic development of the village: the first is the development of service-oriented industries to meet the villagers’ daily needs,and the second is the development of cultural tourism-oriented industries based on the valuable historical and cultural resources.The village conservation fund is financed through the establishment of a "government-led,social participation and villagers’ self-financing" funding mechanism,and the establishment of a collaborative governance model with shared costs and benefits,in order to solve the problems of the shortage of funds for the conservation of Lianhu Village,conservation and development.Through the establishment and improvement of the policy system of equal exchange and two-way flow of urban and rural elements,the free flow of people,capital,technology,land and other elements between urban and rural areas has become more frequent,promoting the integration of Lianhu Village into the county’s integrated urban and rural development system.
