In the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Comrade Xi Jinping proposed an important strategy for rural revitalization,emphasizing the importance of urban and rural compulsory education,especially rural compulsory education.Since then,the development of rural education and the education of rural children have received further attention,and the construction of rural schools has gradually become the top priority of rural educational resources.Among them,rural boarding education is an inevitable result of the state’s adjustment of the layout of rural compulsory education schools,and an important way to allocate rural educational resources.Boarding education in rural areas can effectively concentrate and optimize the allocation of educational resources.While imparting scientific and cultural knowledge,it can enhance the self-reliance of boarding students,especially playing an important role in guiding the mental health development of rural left-behind children.As far as the current boarding schools in my country are concerned,a relatively closed management system is generally adopted.This objectively causes boarding students to lose some education from family and society because they cannot have close contact with family and society.It is self-evident that it is not conducive to the development of students’ mental health.In boarding schools,living space is an essential space type,an important place for students’ after-school life,and plays an important role in students’ boarding life.Therefore,this paper studies the campus living space of rural boarding primary schools,and discusses the design strategies of campus living space that adapt to the special educational background and local environment of rural areas and are beneficial to the healthy development of rural children’s psychology and behavior.This article is divided into four parts:The first part is to define the research theme and construct the research framework: Chapter one starts from the development of rural basic education and the development dilemma of rural boarding schools,and leads to the research theme of rural boarding primary school campus living space.Organize relevant domestic and foreign research literature in the field of pedagogy and architectural design,define the scope of relevant research objects,expound the purpose and significance of the research,and formulate relevant research methods and frameworks.The second part is to sort out and analyze the research objects and related basic theories: The second chapter sorts out the development process of rural basic education and primary school construction in China,as well as the related concepts and characteristics of boarding education and boarding primary schools,and discusses rural areas on this basis.Elementary education and boarding primary schools contrast the particularities of cities.It also analyzes the characteristics of rural children’s psychological activities and behavioral development,and summarizes the requirements of rural boarding school students’ behavioral development for campus space construction.The third part is about the composition of living space in rural boarding primary schools and the current situation investigation and case analysis: The third chapter investigates the current situation of the use of living space in rural boarding primary schools with certain typical significance,analyzes and summarizes the current campus life of rural boarding primary schools The status quo of space.The fourth chapter discusses the design principles of the living space of boarding primary schools based on the functional elements and combination modes of the campus and living area space of boarding primary schools,analyzes the relevant excellent school construction cases,and summarizes its impact on the living space of rural boarding primary schools.Construction reference and guidance.The fourth part is the research and verification of the core topic: the fifth chapter is the core of the full text.The design strategy of rural boarding primary school campus living space is put forward from the aspects of modern design and regional culture inheritance and expression.Finally,the full text is summarized and prospected,the research results of this paper are sorted out,and future research directions are proposed.
