| Over the past 40 years of China’s reform and opening up,the structure of land space utilization has undergone tremendous changes,and remarkable results have been achieved in social and economic development.However,there are problems in land space utilization such as low efficiency,unreasonable utilization structure,and high intensity of resource development.As China embarks on a new journey to fully build a modern socialist country,China has turned to a stage of high-quality development.Guangdong Province is a major province in China’s economy,population,energy consumption,and carbon emissions,facing with problems such as unbalanced regional development,intensified contradictions in human-land relations,and excessive consumption of resources.The road to sustainable development is facing unprecedented challenges.Territorial land space is an important carrier for human social and economic activities,and the changes in the structure of land space have strongly supported social and economic development.In the context of high-quality development,quality first and efficiency first are adhered to.Therefore,improving the comprehensive utilization efficiency of land space,increasing the intensity of ecological and environmental protection,and building a high-quality development urban land space layout and support system are of great significance to promote the efficient utilization of resources and high-quality economic development in Guangdong Province.First,this paper identified and classified the land space in Guangdong Province,and constructs an evaluation index system for the utilization efficiency of "production-living-ecological space" according to the input-output characteristics of production space,living space and ecological space utilization efficiency.The undesirable Super-SBM model was used to measure and evaluate the utilization efficiency of "production-living-ecological space" in 21 prefecture-level cities of Guangdong Province in 2000,2010,and 2020,and the standard deviation ellipse and mean center transition method,natural breaks method,Dagum Gini coefficient were used to explore the spatial distribution characteristics and regional differences of utilization efficiency,and the comprehensive utilization efficiency of land space in Guangdong Province was calculated and analyzed by the entropy method.Finally,the connotation and specific content of high-quality development were introduced to construct a high-quality evaluation system of land space.The high-quality development of land space on the geospatial grid scale was evaluated,and the high-quality development and changes of land space in Guangdong Province and its quality improvement countermeasures were explored.The main research conclusions are as follows.(1)Evaluation on the utilization efficiency of "production-living-ecological space"In 2020,the average value of production space utilization efficiency in Guangdong Province was 1.0904.During the research period,the value of production space utilization efficiency decreased first and then increased,and the overall value remained almost unchanged;the average utilization efficiency of living space in Guangdong Province was 0.8331,which showed a decreasing trend;the average value of ecological space utilization efficiency in Guangdong Province was 0.8415,which first increased slightly and then decreased.The overall efficiency value showed a trend of decreasing volatility.On the whole,the average comprehensive utilization efficiency of land space in Guangdong Province continued to decrease.By 2020,the land space utilization efficiency was arranged in descending order from high to low,namely eastern Guangdong,Pearl River Delta,northern Guangdong and western Guangdong.(2)Spatial evolution of utilization efficiency of "production-living-ecological space"The spatial distribution direction of the utilization efficiency of the "production-living-ecological space" in Guangdong Province was from northeast to southwest.The mean center coordinates of the utilization efficiency of production space and living space in Guangdong Province in 2000,2010,and 2020 were located in Dongguan;the focus of ecological space utilization efficiency first shifted from the eastern part of Guangzhou to the southern part of Guangzhou,and finally fell on Dongguan.During the study period,about 38.10% of the urban production space utilization efficiency showed an overall increase,38.10% of the urban living space utilization efficiency showed an overall upward trend,and only 23.81% of the urban ecological space utilization efficiency showed an upward trend.In the past 20 years,the Gini coefficient of production space and living space utilization efficiency in Guangdong Province has shown a continuous upward trend,while the Gini coefficient of ecological space utilization efficiency has first decreased and then rapidly increased.In general,the spatial distribution of the utilization efficiency of production space,living space,and ecological space in Guangdong Province was increasingly unbalanced,with the main source of spatial imbalance being regional differences.(3)Study on evaluation of high quality development of territorial spaceFrom 2000 to 2020,the highest evaluation values for high-quality development of territorial space in Guangdong Province were 0.7286,0.8619,and 0.8042,while the lowest values were 0.0320,0.0520,and 0.0632,respectively.The highest and lowest evaluation values for high-quality development of national land and space first increased,then slightly decreased,with the highest value being 0.0756 higher than in 2000;the minimum value continued to increase,increasing by 0.0312 compared to 2000.There was a significant spatial positive correlation between the high-quality development of land space at the grid scale,and there is a clear spatial agglomeration distribution characteristic.The results of spatial analysis of cold and hot spots showed that in 2020,the cold spots were mainly distributed in Shaoguan,Huizhou,Jiangmen and Zhanjiang,and the hot spots were concentrated in Heyuan,Shanwei,Shenzhen,Zhongshan,Yangjiang and Yunfu.(4)Countermeasures and suggestions for high quality development of territorial spaceBased on the current situation of high-quality development of territorial space in Guangdong Province in 2020,countermeasures for high-quality development of territorial space in the future were proposed.To ensure the stable and qualitative development of the existing high-quality development zones and high-quality development zones in the Pearl River Delta region,social and economic development should go hand in hand with ecological environmental protection;Medium quality development zones need to improve the utilization efficiency of inefficient construction land,and promote high-quality development and overall industrial transformation of the manufacturing industry.Eastern Guangdong further strengthens cooperation among Shantou,Chaozhou,and Jieyang to accelerate integrated development.Western Guangdong actively relies on its coastal advantages and focuses on developing the marine economy,offshore economy,and petrochemical industry.In northern Guangdong,the government should improve the level of land use and continue to promote urban construction and investment activities,while also further protect and develop ecological green spaces. |
