In recent years,influenced by the global political and economic situation and the overall market economic environment,the global automobile market has slowed down,while China’s automobile market has also suffered from the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic,the decline in consumer confidence and other factors,leading to a decline in automobile production and sales.Although the new domestic forces are now rising,New energy vehicle sales are up but the overall pattern is still not optimistic.As the industry competition’s big hosts are slash costs,shorten the manufacturing period of new cars at the same time,which is in the middle and lower reaches of industry of auto parts manufacturing enterprises on the one hand to cost pressure,on the one hand,and pressure to shorten new product development cycle,to the survival and development of auto parts enterprises has brought new challenges.As an important part of supply chain management,procurement is becoming more and more important as an important part of raising income,reducing expenditure,reducing cost and increasing efficiency.How to reduce the delivery time of new parts,how to improve the efficiency and quality of procurement management,and how to reduce the procurement cost become the important issues that enterprises need to face.This paper takes F Company as the research object,it is a multinational enterprise,focus on car seat parts manufacturing,.After more than one hundred years of development,it has become the third largest automobile seat mechanism supplier in North America.The company is headquartered in Detroit,the United States,and has factories and technical centers in Mexico,Germany and China.This paper first explains the domestic and foreign scholars’ research and views on procurement management and supplier management,and then analyzes the current situation of F company’s procurement management through expert interviews and questionnaires.On the basis of reviewing relevant theories of purchasing management,analyzes the F the pre-project parts quality problems in purchasing management,lack of material and high inventory,cost of raw materials of rise year by year,the problem such as supplier management confusion,poor through further analysis found that the early stage of the project quality control,demand plan management existence question,purchasing cost control is insufficient,The unsound supplier management mechanism is the main reason for these problems.Base on the in-depth analysis of the problems and causes arising in the current procurement management work of F Company.This paper provides targeted optimization plan.Through threshold monitoring of supplier entry and quality control before project nominationed to help suppliers improve quality management level,Use strengthening material planning management and inventory management to reduce the high inventory and resolve material shortage problem.Through improve procurement budget management,and expedite supplier localization and VAVE cost reduction management to control and reduce the procurement cost.Optimize supplier selection,improve supplier performance evaluation,and improve supplier classification management to solve supplier management issue,finally summarize and prospect the whole research work.
