Research On The Design Of Public Space Environment In Peasants’ Centralized Residential Communities In Southern Jiangsu

Providing improvements to the rural residential environment is a key task in implementing the rural revitalization strategy.It is the public space of farmers’ concentrated residential communities that serve as an important activity platform for structuring the physical space of the community,as well as a place that farmers rely on for social activities in the new community.With the diversified development of urbanrural integration,the useful aspects and cultural carrying capacity of public space in this type of community have become difficult to meet the current needs of people.As a result,from the perspective of environmental space design,this study uses a multidisciplinary approach as the starting point for integrating landscape elements with people,thereby creating an environment conducive to the physical and mental health of the residents,improving their quality of life,and meeting their communication and use requirements.This study takes the self-built area of Dingshe Village,Qianhuang Town,Changzhou City as the research and design object.To begin with,it sorts out relevant theoretical research at home and abroad,and conducts a comprehensive analysis based on typical case studies of farmers’ concentrated residential communities;Secondly,it investigates the physical space and crowd activities in the self-built area of the village,and makes a comprehensive analysis and summary based on on-site research,questionnaire survey,and relevant data;A number of problems are believed to exist,such as a lack of prominent regional style and features in public spaces,as well as a lack of partial functionality.Finalize the overall design strategy based on locality,versatility,and health ecology.Make "passing down the family heritage through farming and education" as the theme;With the goal of meeting people’s needs for a better life,adhering to people-oriented principles,creating sustainable public spaces,creating a good ecological environment,and inheriting distinctive regional culture;Explore the integrated practice model of agriculture,tourism,culture,and ecological industries with the characteristics of Qianhuang Town.In order to encourage rural regeneration and enhance the public space in farming communities,this research will provide fresh ideas and practical references.
