| Under the background of urbanization,children’s activity space is gradually reduced.Many problems include more space,extensive activity facilities,and hidden dangers in Chinese city parks.Recently,the concept of a child-friendly city has gradually heated up and has been widely concerned by people from all walks of life.The construction of urban parks plays an essential role in promoting children’s well-being and building a better living environment.The structure of child-friendly parks needs to include the theoretical construction of the relationship between children and the environment.The diversity of child-friendly concepts and environmental design needs to be explored.Based on the above problems,this thesis first sorted out the relevant theories of child-friendliness and availability,then discussed the appropriate research progress around domestic and foreign scholars,made a preliminary analysis of the availability theory and child-friendly park,and concluded the feasibility of combining the two.Secondly,it summarizes children’s all-around performance from their psychological and behavioral characteristics and stage differences.It outlines the commonalities and factors of children of different ages and personalities in the landscape space.Analyze the cases of child-friendly parks at home and abroad,and learn the supply application of excellent instances.Finally,the thesis studies the needs and preferences of park users.In further research,the principles and methods of the child-friendly park landscape design are summarized.On this basis,taking Riverside Park of Pingdingshan City as a design sample,further,explore the feasibility of a child-friendly park design guided by the availability,propose specific design orientation,design objectives,and design ideas,and provide guidance for the creation of child-friendly parks from the aspects of plants,water bodies,paving and public facilities in the park.To actively respond to the construction of child-friendly cities. |
