A Study Of Children-friendly Park Planning And Design Based On Children’s Behavior Model

With the vigorous development of the construction of child-friendly cities,the construction of a child-friendly park is of great significance to promoting the improvement of children’s well-being and building a beautiful living environment.At present,the children’s activity space in urban parks in China faces problems such as lack of activity space,random placement of activities,potential safety hazards,and single interaction objects for young children,inconvenience for adult care,etc.The construction of children-friendly parks lacks theoretical construction of the relationship between children and environment.It also lacks theoretical research,and research on child-friendly landscape space design are not deep enough.Based on these problems,this paper begins with the perspective of landscape architecture,starting from the theory of children’s physiological,psychological and behavioral patterns,and discusses the design methods and key points of the child-friendly urban comprehensive park from the perspective of child-friendly.This paper first defines and differentiates the concept of child-friendly park from the theoretical research level,and limits the theoretical basis to the two levels of behavior-space theory and children’s game theory,which provides the basic theoretical basis for the summary of children’s behavior patterns and the space design of child-friendly parks.Then,through analyzing the physiological and psychological scales of children,the development of children’s behavioral psychology and the characteristics of children’s behavior patterns in landscape space,summarizes the influence of the above factors on landscape space.Based on the above,it is concluded that the design of child-friendly parks must meet the principles of accessibility,gardening,safety,diversity,naturalness and fun,and the specific design strategies are studied from the aspects of park boundary,overall spatial layout,landscape space design,spatial elements design and environmental facilities design.Analyze and summarize the design methods in excellent cases at home and abroad,and finally apply the above theoretical research and practical research to the planning and design of Shenzhen Xiangmi child-friendly park,with a view to promoting the development of China’s child-friendly city construction.
