The vigorous development of high-speed rail and air transportation has led to continuous changes in the transportation pattern.while benefiting from the complementary structure of high-speed rail and air transportation, passengers often choose different transportation methods to complete their travel purposes, that is,the travel paths on OD travel routes are diversified, such as high-speed rail travel paths, air travel paths, and air-rail combined travel paths. With the improvement of the comprehensive transportation system and the gradual expansion of the overlapping hinterland of air and rail,it has become inevitable for passengers to have diversified travel choices. In view of this, the travel selection results from the perspective of passengers have important strategic significance for the resource layout and service concept adjustment of different transportation modes. Therefore,it is necessary to conduct research on passenger travel choices in the context of diversified transportation modes,in order to better promote the high-quality development of comprehensive transportation. This article mainly analyzes the time indicators involved in different stages of passenger travel, and constructs a model for passenger travel path selection;Verify the rationality of the passenger travel path selection model through ridge regression analysis, and study the mechanism of various influencing factors on passenger travel path selection. The main content is as follows:(1)Quantification of passenger travel time indicatorsStarting from the organizational model of passenger flow, describe the influencing factors of waiting time at a macro level, and quantify the time indicators at this stage as the free movement time and queuing time of passengers in the high-speed rail station waiting hall/terminal.By analyzing the urban public transportation environment, the travel time of passengers in the city is quantified as the travel time of urban rail transit, which is composed of the travel time between the passenger’s starting and ending points and the urban rail stations/terminal,the waiting/transfer time at the platform, and the time of taking the urban rail.(2)Construction of passenger travel path selection modelIn the face of different travel paths composed of high-speed rail and air transportation modes, passengers’ choices often aim to maximize travel efficiency. Therefore, the concept of per capita time value is introduced, and time indicators are transformed into quickness, convenience, and comfort.Specific analysis is conducted on the pricing of high-speed rail and civil aviation tickets, and a generalized cost function for passenger travel path selection is established. On the OD travel route, passenger travel paths are set to three scenarios: high-speed rail direct, air direct, and air-rail combined travel.Using the generalized cost value as the path length, screen the optimal travel path under different travel scenarios.Using the generalized cost value as the path length, the shortest path search algorithm is used to screen the optimal travel path for different travel scenarios, calculate the optimal travel path results for passengers in different scenarios, and obtain the passenger travel plan.(3)Case analysis of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circleUsing ridge regression analysis to analyze the impact mechanism of passenger travel choice results,it was found that the explanatory power of each variable for the dependent variable was always greater than 0.95,indicating that the model has a high explanatory power. And the specific impact direction is as the travel time shortens and the comfort level improves, the probability of passengers choosing different travel methods gradually increases, while highspeed rail and air travel passengers show obvious price sensitive characteristics, that is,when the ticket price increases, the travel demand of passengers correspondingly decreases.
