Due to its special characteristics,asphalt pavements often need to be maintained,the maintenance process will produce a large number of waste asphalt pavement materials,resulting in waste of resources,environmental pollution and other problems.In the face of the increasingly serious resource situation and environmental pressure,the recycling of waste asphalt pavement materials and giving full play to the “residual value” of such materials is an inevitable choice for the sustainable development of the transport industry.Warm mix regeneration technology is an important green and low-carbon technology in the development of asphalt pavement maintenance,which can not only recycle a large amount of old pavement materials,but also reduce the construction temperature of recycled asphalt mixture,save energy,reduce harmful gas and dust emissions,which is of great practical significance.Therefore,this study conducts a comprehensive benefit evaluation of the construction phase of warm mix regeneration technology for asphalt pavement maintenance to provide reference significance and value for the promotion and application of this technology.This study firstly defines the comprehensive benefit evaluation of warm mix regeneration technology in three dimensions: economic,environmental and social benefits.Using literature research and field research methods,24 evaluation indicators were initially screened out and their connotations defined.Through expert scoring,combined with Matlab software to construct the evaluation index weight matrix,using the weighting method to rank the weight of each evaluation index,and finally constructed a comprehensive benefit evaluation index system of warm mix regeneration technology for highway asphalt pavement maintenance.Secondly,a comprehensive benefit evaluation model with the functions of “comparison” and“quantification” was established through the cloud model(CM)and improved radar chart(IRC)method.The CM method determines the evaluation level of the comprehensive benefits of the evaluation objects,and the IRC method quantifies the comprehensive benefits,economic benefits,environmental benefits and social benefits of the evaluation objects,while the IRC method complements the CM method in obtaining only one comprehensive result,and determines the quantitative relationship between the comprehensive benefits and the unilateral dimensional benefits of each evaluation object.Finally,the comprehensive benefit evaluation model based on CM and IRC method was applied to the evaluation of the comprehensive benefits of warm mix regeneration technology and introduced into the G6 Beijing-Tibet Expressway maintenance project(Lanzhou section)for empirical study.The study shows that the evaluation of the comprehensive benefits of warm-mix regeneration technology for highway asphalt pavement maintenance is “excellent”,and the technology has good economic,environmental,social and comprehensive benefits compared with hot-mix regeneration technology,which should be vigorously promoted and applied;the evaluation index system of the comprehensive benefits of warm-mix regeneration technology is flexible,and the social benefits and mechanical costs are the main factors affecting the comprehensive benefits of this technology.The CM and IRC models are used to evaluate the overall benefits of warm-mix recycling technology,and the model is applicable to a wide range of pavement maintenance technology options and can be used to evaluate the effectiveness,performance and risk of implementation.The results of this study provide a theoretical and practical basis for the application and development of warm mix regeneration technology,provide a reference standard for highway maintenance decisions,and at the same time promote the application of warm mix regeneration technology on a large scale in the northwest region and alleviate the current environmental pollution problems in the highway maintenance industry.
