The royal palace architecture is an exemplary piece of Chinese traditional architecture and a symbol of royal status.The buildings of Shenyang Imperial Palace and the two tombs are bold in color,rectangular in shape and rich in theme in decorative art,which shows the regional decorative charm of buildings in Shenyang during the Qing Dynasty.Through a large number of academic data research,there is a gap in the research on the decoration cultural factor and genealogical characteristics of royal palace buildings in Shenyang.This paper sums up the common and individual characteristics of the architecture of one palace and two tombs in terms of decorative cultural factor by using the methods of historical research and analysis and field survey.As an important place for hearing politics and holding ceremonies,the octagonal structure of the Dazheng Hall of Political Affairs has become the "unique" of Chinese imperial palace architecture;In terms of color factor,mostly in the form of yellow glazed and green trim,highlighting the Manchu ethnic spirit of worshiping heaven;In the pattern factor,the combination of plants,flowers and birds with beautiful meanings is often used,and the combination of movement and stillness makes the picture lively;In terms of semantic factors,it mostly expresses yearning and blessing for a better life,reflecting the humanistic concept of seeking good fortune and avoiding bad luck.Through the extraction and arrangement of architectural decorative patterns,it is analyzed that the architectural decoration of one palace and two mausoleums mostly adopts decorative patterns with Manchu,Mongolian,Han and Tibetan characteristics,such as pattern of Falun Jixiang grass,pattern of Jijiao,pattern of Aruha,Taoist symbols,and pattern of Xixuan.Try to clarify the decorative genealogical features of "Manchu,Mongolian,Han and Tibetan" in the royal palace architecture decoration in the early Qing Dynasty in Shenyang,screen out the regional decorative characteristics of the royal palace architecture in Shenyang,and provide theoretical basis and creative ideas for inheriting and promoting the research on the regional architectural decorative characteristics in Shenyang.Analyzing architecture from the perspective of decorative cultural factor and genealogical characteristics can enrich the research experience of traditional architectural decoration.At the same time,the decorative genealogy research process constructed in this paper also expands the academic field and scope of genealogy research methods.
