With the acceleration of China’s aging population process, the 14 th Five Year Plan proposes a strategy to actively respond to population aging, focusing on improving the population service system with "one elderly and one young" as the focus, responding to the changes in intergenerational relationships caused by the adjustment of family size and structure, emphasizing the study of the relationship between the elderly and children in the elderly care model. In addition,in the context of active aging, the digital needs of the elderly population are increasingly prominent, and the issue of the digital divide among the elderly is becoming increasingly serious. The emergence of the digital divide is related to the differences in the treatment of the digital internet among the elderly and other generations, while the children group,as "indigenous people of the internet," possess high digital cultural literacy. Therefore,in the interaction behavior between the elderly and young generations,a phenomenon of "cultural feedback" has emerged around the interaction in the digital field: children reverse the dissemination of relevant information content in the digital field to the elderly, that is,the digital feedback behavior between the elderly and young generations. The digital backfeeding of the elderly and young has generated new social effects, and has also brought new paths and methods for studying the issue of the digital divide in the elderly.By clarifying the specific mechanisms and impact effects of digital feedback behavior,we can innovate elderly products and services in a practical sense. Therefore, exploring how to intervene in this social behavior and promote digital feedback mechanisms to better bridge the digital divide among the elderly is the key to this study. This article is based on the theoretical background of symbolic interaction theory, and studies the specific interaction process and mechanism between the elderly and young generations in the process of "digital feedback".Through theoretical correlation research, the intergenerational digital interaction path in the perspective of symbolic interaction was constructed, and the symbolic content in the interaction was clarified.Based on questionnaire surveys and user interviews, this paper analyzes the current status and causes of intergenerational digital interaction, and establishes the physiological, psychological, and social interaction needs of "digital feedback" behavior at the current stage. With the aim of improving interaction needs,it explores the use of intergenerational interactive game design for the elderly and children to enhance the effectiveness of digital feedback behavior and expand the behavior of digital feedback to bridge the digital divide in the elderly. On the basis of proposing the feasibility of gamification design, through analyzing the specific behavior of the interaction process between generations, and from the perspective of symbolic interaction, this paper proposes the use of symbol translation as the main way to expand the path of intergenerational interactive games, bridging the digital interaction path between generations.Based on this viewpoint,a controlled experimental design was conducted to compare the interaction efficiency and accuracy data of two groups of elderly people in simple, ordinary, and difficult interaction behaviors. The feasibility of the viewpoint was analyzed and verified, and a design strategy for intergenerational digital interactive games was constructed from three levels: form, mechanism, and concept, combined with the influence of specific symbolic content in the interaction. Finally,by constructing specific design service objects and process experience paths, analyzing the classification of symbolic content in the digital interaction process and the game interaction logic in intergenerational interactions, digital games were used as a carrier for intergenerational interactions between the elderly and young. From a practical perspective,a mechanism for bridging the digital divide in the elderly was designed and demonstrated for the "digital feedback" behavior.
