Resarch On The Renewal Of Xing Qing Gong Park In Xi’an Based On Post Occupancy Evaluation Theory

Urban parks occupy a pivotal position in the urban ecosystem and urban landscape,and are places for urban residents to relax,play sports,interact and hold various types of culture,and are one of the main elements of urban green space system construction.In recent years,as the social and economic development has entered a new stage,the change of urban construction mode has brought new development opportunities for urban parks,and at the same time has put forward higher requirements for the quality of urban parks.Xingqing Palace Park,built in 1958 on top of the site of the former Tang Xingqing Palace,was the first large park in Xi’an after the founding of New China.Due to the discovery of the ruins of the Qinzheng Service Ben Building during the construction,Xingqinggong Park is different from other urban parks in that it is a comprehensive urban park with the preservation of the ruins as its premise.To meet the needs of urban development in different periods,Xingqinggong Park has undergone four planning updates so far.The latest upgrading and renewal work,which will be completed in 2021,has attracted wide attention from the society.In this paper,we use post-evaluation theoretical methods as the basis,combining the theories of sustainable development,organic renewal,demand hierarchy and place culture.According to Post Occupancy Evaluation data collection-data analysis-comprehensive evaluation-improvement suggestions",the research is carried out by studying the specific contents of the 2021 Xingqinggong Park renewal design;constructing a usage evaluation scheme for Xingqinggong Park,and analyzing The study will analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the park after the completion of the park renewal work,and make corresponding suggestions for improvement.Firstly,through reading a large amount of literature,the theory of post-use evaluation is studied,and the elements affecting the post-use evaluation of urban parks are divided into environmental elements and user elements;the theory and practice of urban park renewal are studied,and the design ideas and methods of urban park renewal are sorted out,and the process of urban park renewal needs to pay attention to the basic principles of sustainability,people-oriented,ecological,regional,contemporary,and The basic principles of urban park regeneration include sustainability,people-oriented,ecology,localization,modernity,and economy.Secondly,the relationship between Xingqinggong Park and Tang Xingqinggong is described through data collection and field research,and the four planning histories of Xingqinggong Park are sorted out;the planning and design concepts,renewal principles and physical environment conditions before and after the renewal of Xingqinggong Park in 2021 are compared and analyzed.Secondly,based on the theory of post-use evaluation,the evaluation scheme of Xingqinggong Park was constructed,combining qualitative and quantitative methods,and the characteristics and behavioral characteristics of park users and their satisfaction with the park were analyzed through the compilation of questionnaires;the results found that the overall usage rate of the park is high,mainly for sports and fitness,entertainment and leisure;the main user groups of the park are local middle-aged and elderly people;users are satisfied with the overall layout and The results of the study combined with the evaluation of the 2021 Xingqing Park renewal and user satisfaction are: the overall layout of the park is reasonable,the park is highly accessible from the outside,and the internal traffic flow is smooth;the internal infrastructure of the park is rich in variety,but some facilities are not highly used;there is a lack of youth The overall cultural atmosphere of the park is good and can reflect the strong history,but some local residents have a lack of urban memory and a lack of cultural identity of the park;the level of security management of the park needs to be improved.Finally,we analyze the shortcomings of the renewed park in terms of the overall layout,cultural activities,and management and maintenance,and propose to remove the fence,break the boundary,and improve the openness of the park;increase the functional venues suitable for youth,and enrich the structure of the park users;enhance the cultural display and utilization of the site,and promote cultural activities;build an online + offline cultural display system;promote the special cultural activities of the site park It also proposes to improve the management and maintenance level of the park;to consider the subsequent urban park renewal work in Xi’an,and proposes to change the thinking of park renewal;to pay attention to the evaluation work before and after the renewal;to introduce the public participation mechanism;to pay attention to the needs of users,etc.
