Study On Post Occupancy Evaluation Of Urban Park

Post Occupancy Evaluation(POE)is a key step to feed back the usage of built projects to new ones.This feedback system is frequently overlooked in actual work,which leads to the informative isolation between users and designers,and the slow pace of planning projects.Urban parks an important part of urban public space,and also one of the most common forms of landscape.With the deepening of the reform and opening up,urbanization level of China has increased significantly;large-scale urban construction has been completed;numerous large urban parks have been built.It is time to have a comprehensive assessment of urban parks,which is able to provide effective reference for further development.Through this research,a POE system applying to most urban parks is looking forward to.This article focuses on the subject of urban parks,and research the content and method of POE.Through theoretical study of urban parks,environmental psychology and POE,get the designing purpose of adapting to modern social development and people's demand.By using method of behavior observation,method of map recognition,and AHP-vague comprehensive evaluation method,construct the quantitative and qualitative analytical POE system of urban park.The establishment of mathematical evaluation model is the focus of the study.This paper uses analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to construct the second order level evaluation index of urban park's POE system,which includes four categories and twenty events.Experts get judgment matrix through questionnaire,then calculate the weight of evaluation index of each layer.Based on above process,get the weight of evaluation index to four categories and twenty events.The first level evaluation index shows that high-quality ecological environment(0.3083)>rational design of' site space(0.2911)>perfect landscape facilities and service(0.2093)>prominent landscape value(0.1913),which indicates that consideration of ecological environment and functions should be superior than culture and visual enjoyment during the landscape design of urban park.At last,all evaluation indexes and comprehensive grades of urban parks could be calculated through questionnaire survey collecting data of POE,and weight of evaluation index.After applying the research results into the POE of Hangzhou Hubin Park,a series of grades including a total mark of Hub in Park(88),landscape value of first-class evaluation index(90),site space design(84),ecological environment(92),landscape facilities and management(85),and the marks of twenty events of second-class evaluation index,which shows that problems exist on space design,landscape value and management in Hubin Park.Besides,detailed suggestions of improvement are given.
