| In the existing urban public art spaces, the quality is uneven, and the works are single in form and lack of characteristics. How to create a people-oriented and unique urban public art space has become a constant concern of urban designers and industry scholars. This research takes urban public art space as the research object, from the perspective of environmental behavior, through the integrated analysis of spatial behavior interaction theory, studies the specific content and form of traditional culture intervention in urban public art space, and compares and analyzes the public’s participation in urban public art space. The behavioral characteristics of the public,as well as the public’s aesthetic preference for space, reconstruct the urban public art space design strategy that integrates traditional culture. The core content of the research includes the following four aspects:(1)Research on the performance of traditional culture intervening in urban public art space, mainly analyzing the visual composition and cultural connotation of traditional culture intervening in urban public art space. In this way,the connection between traditional culture and urban public art space is established.(2)Research on the behavior of traditional culture intervening in urban public art spaces.By comparing and analyzing the behavior of urban public art spaces with traditional cultural images and urban public art spaces with non-traditional cultural images, the characteristics of traditional culture that trigger public behavioral interactions are summarized.(3)Research on the public’s preference for traditional culture to intervene in urban public art spaces.Based on the analysis of questionnaires,we understand the public’s preference for traditional culture to intervene in urban public art spaces and the demand for interactive behaviors,so as to build an urban public art space that improves environmental quality and promotes public participation.(4)Urban public art space design strategies for reconstructing traditional culture. To study the relationship between "visual intervention" and "emotional intervention" between urban public art and traditional culture.Combined with four excellent cases,a design strategy for public art space in traditional cultural cities that can bring good interactive experience to the public is proposed.According to the research findings:(1)The performance of traditional culture intervening in urban public art space includes visual composition and cultural connotation, among which the morphological elements of visual composition are reflected in the original form reproduction of traditional culture, the combination of movement and stillness, and detailed description;the color elements consist of yellow,Composed of red main color and green environment color;text elements are composed of ornamental text and suggestive text.Cultural connotation includes the originality of materials and forms;the regionality of unique meaning;the diversity of content and expression techniques.(2)Compared with public art spaces in cities with non-traditional cultural images, the behaviors generated in urban public art spaces with traditional cultural images are more abundant and diverse.(3)The public prefers traditional culture to intervene in urban public art spaces in terms of content and form, which are mainly abstract and storytelling;in terms of art form,it is mainly three-dimensional and streamlined;in terms of regional cultural expression,it is mainly based on ancient buildings and martial arts,etc..Combined with the case analysis,it is concluded that the method of visual intervention and emotional intervention is used to construct an urban public art space strategy that highlights traditional cultural characteristics. This research aims to provide a theoretical basis and method exploration for the research of traditional culture intervening in urban public art space, and on this basis, provide a reference for the design practice of urban public art space. |
