According to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China,as of the end of 2021,there were 48 million small and micro enterprises in China.The legal entities of small and micro enterprises accounted for 99.8% of the total number of legal entities of large-scale enterprises in China,and employment absorption accounted for 79.4% of all enterprises,with operating income accounting for 68.2%.Small and medium-sized enterprises play an indelible role in promoting national economic and social development.As an important component of China’s national economic system,they play a crucial role in expanding employment,improving people’s livelihoods,promoting entrepreneurship and innovation,and also play an indispensable role in stabilizing economic growth and preventing risks.However,compared to large state-owned enterprises,small and medium-sized private enterprises face fierce competition,insufficient management level,rapid employee turnover,and difficulty in attracting outstanding talents,resulting in higher survival threats and challenges.Therefore,for small and medium-sized private enterprises,it is particularly important to establish a reasonable incentive mechanism to motivate existing employees.Against this background,this article takes the local enterprise ZL Construction Co.,Ltd.in Weihai as an example from the perspective of human resource management,focusing on studying the problems in employee incentive strategies of the enterprise,and proposing optimization plans for existing incentive strategies for enterprise reference.Firstly,this article elaborates on the background,purpose,research methods,and technical roadmap of the research.Through collecting literature from database resources such as school libraries and China National Knowledge Infrastructure,it analyzes the relevant research on incentive strategies by domestic and foreign experts and scholars.Through learning and mastering the relevant theoretical foundation,it lays a solid theoretical foundation for conducting this study;Secondly,the relevant concepts and theoretical foundations of employee motivation in enterprises at home and abroad were sorted and summarized;Once again,a preliminary understanding of the current situation of employee incentive strategies of ZL Construction Co.,Ltd.was conducted through company profile,organizational structure,member composition,and employee incentive strategies;Then,based on the questionnaire and Grounded theory analysis method,the problems of employee incentive in ZL Construction Co.,Ltd.were investigated and analyzed,and the following problems were found in ZL Construction Co.,Ltd.: first,problems in target incentive strategy,second,problems in wage and welfare strategy,third,problems in career development strategy,fourth,problems in negative incentive strategy;Finally,based on the analysis of the existing problems and following the principles of optimizing employee incentive strategies,optimization suggestions are proposed for existing incentive strategies: increasing direct economic rewards,improving indirect welfare systems,fully trusting employees,improving honor and reward mechanisms,and creating an organizational cultural atmosphere.At the same time,strengthen the implementation guarantee of strategies to ensure their true implementation.
