My nation has the largest old population in the entire globe, and it will continue to age for a very long period.Urban community parks, which serve as green spaces for residential neighborhoods, have steadily taken over as the senior population’s primary locations for outdoor recreation and are contributing significantly to the elderly population’s quality of life. However, the long-established community park space environment is planned and designed in accordance with the age structure of the social population at that time, and its service population is primarily young and middle-aged people. The needs of the elderly in terms of the environment are rarely taken into consideration, and there is a lack of special environmental design suitable for the elderly.Hence,comprehension.From the perspective of the elderly’s environmental needs for community parks, this study tries to investigate novel ideas on how the age-appropriate space environment of community parks in Xi’an can suit those needs.Six long-standing community parks in Xi’an’s central metropolitan region were chosen for the study as research samples. The physical and behavioral characteristics of the elderly as well as the characteristics of community parks are examined through site surveys and observations of senior citizen behavior.connections between different spatial settings. In order to identify the indicators of the elderly’s environmental needs for the elderly in community parks and to analyze the environmental demand indicators using the KJ method, qualitative analysis is used to analyze the research literature, normative documents, and interview data on the environmental needs of the elderly in park green spaces.classification, creating the five levels of environmental safety, accessibility, comfort, aesthetics, and sociality, and resulting in the environmental demand index system of the elderly in community parks, which includes 16 secondary environmental demand indicators and32 tertiary environmental demand indicators.environmental demand indicators at a level.Based on this, the better-worse rate constant analysis method as well as the Kano model evaluation analysis techniques are used to classify the environmental demand indicators for the elderly. The better coefficient value and worse coefficient of determination are then used to assess the significance of various environmental demand indicators at the same level.Sort.After defining the true challenge of meeting the environmental needs of the elderly,a community that accurately meets the five levels of environmental safety, accessibility, comfort, aesthetics, and sociability is proposed. This community will be combined with the actual situation of the elderly-friendly microgravity environment in the sample community parks.ideal planning approach for the park’s age-friendly setting. The purpose of this paper is to use a demand-based quantitative evaluation method to assess the age-friendly environment of community parks in Xi’an from the perspective of the needs of the elderly. To some extent, new attempts and explorations of research perspectives and ideas related to the evaluation of the age-friendly environment of Xi’an community parks have been made, and it has positive reference significance for the optimization and improvement of the age-friendly environment of Xi’an community parks.
