Study On The Traditional Architectural Decoration Culture Of Dong Ethnic Group In Southeast Guizhou

Dong architecture is a rare treasure among the minority architecture in China.Its unique architectural decoration is not only functional and aesthetic,but also reflects the inheritance of the excellent cultural heritage of China’s ethnic minorities and the carrier of humanistic spirit.With the rapid development of economy and society and the acceleration of urbanization,Dong traditional architecture is facing destruction and cultural disappearance.Therefore,it is particularly urgent and important to study and protect the architectural decoration culture of Dong ethnic group.The traditional architecture of Dong ethnic group in Liping,Rongjiang and Congjiang in Southeast Guizhou is well preserved.Therefore,this paper takes the traditional architectural decoration of Dong ethnic group in these three places as the main research object,and adopts the research methods of field investigation,literature analysis and comparative study.Firstly,the types and contents of the natural environment,cultural environment and architectural decoration in Southeast Guizhou are expounded and summarized.Secondly,the paper studies the content characteristics and cultural connotation expressed by Dong ethnic group in Southeast Guizhou.In the course of the study,the architectural techniques and profound cultural connotations of architectural decoration of the Dong people in Southeast Guizhou are discussed,and the cultural manifestations of architectural decoration of the Dong people in Southeast Guizhou under the influence of the Dong society are summarized.Among them,Dong architectural decoration in Southeast Guizhou is compared with other minority architectural decoration in the same area,and their common and individual characteristics are analyzed.Finally,some personal opinions and suggestions are put forward for the protection and development of architectural decoration culture of Dong ethnic group in Southeast Guizhou.Through the above research,on the one hand,we classified and understood the architectural decoration of Dong ethnic group in Southeast Guizhou,and summarized its inherent cultural connotation and characteristics.On the other hand,we hope to attract the attention of relevant people and provide some practical methods or experiences for the construction of regional buildings or communities with certain ethnic characteristics.
