Abstract/Summary:
Secondary vocational education plays an important role in the cultivating high quality front-line technical and skilled personnel.Improving the post competency of secondary vocational students is crucial to improving their technical skills,promoting their lifelong sustainable development,and improving the quality of talent cultivation in secondary vocational schools.Taking a secondary vocational school in Zhangjiakou as an example,this paper investigates and analyzes the post competence of secondary vocational students majoring in automobile application and maintenance.According to the literature and research,determine the post competency model,including professional competency,team cooperation ability,learning and research ability and internal guidance driving force.Among them,professional competence includes professional knowledge,diligence,agility,hard work,and professional skills.Team cooperation ability includes a sense of team belonging,active participation in activities,obedience to management,good communication,and good coordination.Learning and research ability includes experience integration,independent access to information,planning and decision-making ability,experience and understanding,and good observation.Internal oriented driving forces includes excellence,motivation,inner love,responsibility spirit and labor creativity.According to this model,we conducted a questionnaire survey on the indicator system,used SPSS26.0 software to statistically analyze the effective data,and measured it with a 5-point scale.The overall evaluation average of post competency was3.568,which was in the middle level range,indicating that the overall evaluation of students’ competence for their own automobile maintenance posts was in the middle level,of which the learning and research ability was at the lowest level,of which the average evaluation value is3.284,and the internal orientation driving force was at a lower level,of which the average evaluation value is 3.479.Based on this,a further enterprise survey was conducted,and interviews with teachers and students reached the same conclusion: students’ learning and research ability and internal guidance driving force were at a low level.Subjectively,students lacked the spirit of hard work,the spirit of excellence,the mobility was large,and they did not like to learn theoretical knowledge;in the objective aspect,students’ facilities and equipment are insufficient,and teaching concepts and methods need to be improved.Finally,according to these conclusions,the following countermeasures are put forward: First,strengthen the value guidance and implement the fundamental tasks of establishing morality and cultivating people;The second is to promote school-enterprise cooperation and strengthen the combination of work and study;The third is to update educational concepts and strengthen teaching reform.The shortage is due to the impact of regional research samples and epidemic situation,which need to be added to the study in the future to ensure the scientific selection of indicators.
