Production And Processing Technology And Economic Benefit Analysis Of Wormwood In Handan Hilly Area

Artemisia argyi is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine in China.In recent years,with the pursuit of healthy life,Artemisia argyi has been paid more and more attention.Handan City is located in the southern end of Hebei Province,the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains,the west of the Beijing-Guangzhou railway for the middle and low hills,the east for the plain area.With a total area of 12066 square kilometers,mountainous and hilly areas account for 46% of the city’s area.In terms of agricultural production,due to the shortage of water resources in hilly areas,most of them rely on the sky to harvest,mainly planting one crop of corn a year,with no guarantee of production and low economic income.Through literature review,experimental research,field investigation and other methods,this thesis introduced five domestic artemisia argyi varieties,observed and measured the morphological characteristics,yield,lint yield,essential oil content,flavonoid content of different varieties of artemisia argyi,and analyzed the economic benefits of wormwood planting and processing,screened out the varieties suitable for planting in Handan hilly area,and can be widely applied in production.Provide a path to prosperity for local farmers.The main results are as follows:(1)Through the observation and analysis of the introduction and agronomic characters of five Artemisia argyi varieties,the results showed that Zhengyang Artemisia argyi was the fastest in terms of growth rate.In terms of leaf traits,the leaves of Handanye Artemisia sinensis were the longest,the leaves of Zhengyang Artemisia sinensis were the widest,the thickest,the highest fresh and dry louver weight.In terms of yield,the highest yield of Artemisia argyi in Zhengyang was 707.0kg per mu.In the comparison of leaf traits and yield,Zhengyang A.sinensis had the most advantages,followed by Tongbai B.sinensis.(2)The content of lint,essential oil and flavonoids of Artemisia argyi showed that Zhengyang Artemisia argyi had the highest lint content(115.78g/kg),followed by Tongbo Artemisia argyi.In terms of essential oil content,the extraction rate of essential oil from Zhengyang Radix was 0.165%,followed by Tongbai Radix.In terms of flavonoid content,Handan was the highest(0.1269μg/mg),followed by Laiyuan Mosaic.Through the comprehensive comparative analysis of agronomic characters and product quality,Zhengyang Artemisia argyi was suitable for spreading in Handan hilly area,followed by paulownia paulownia.(3)Through the analysis of the economic benefits of wormwood production and processing,the results showed that the profit of farmers planting wormwood was 2.87 times that of the original crop maize.The project of wormwood planting with wormwood embryo as the source of income has a payback period of 9.61 years,and the project is feasible.On the basis of producing and processing moxa wool and moxa sticks,the rate of return is 113.4% and 125% respectively;The rate of return of extraction of wormwood essential oil is 76.5%,and the extraction efficiency is poor and the yield is low.Compared with that,the rate of return of processing wormwood wool and wormwood sticks is higher.In particular,the production and processing of wormwood sticks is simple and easy with high efficiency,which can further improve the enthusiasm of wormwood planting,drive the development of local economy and obtain good social benefits.
