| Evaluation and research of resources is a basic prerequisite for breeding work,and the establishment of a database can be used to provide a credible platform for data management and exchange of resources.Therefore,in this study,62 watermelon germplasm resources were used as materials to investigate and measure the main agronomic traits and fruit nutrient contents of various tested varieties.Through statistics and variance analysis,the germplasm resources were classified and evaluated,providing reference and basis for the identification and utilization of watermelon germplasm resources.At the same time,the above data were summarized,sorted out and collected,and the database system of watermelon germplasm resources was developed by using Microsoft Access2007 database management system,VBA statement program code,database construction method and computer technology to integrate the data resources of watermelon main traits.To realize the information and standardized management of watermelon germplasm resources,facilitate the use of data queries and improve the utilization of germplasm information,and serve for watermelon breeding and scientific research.The main contents and results are as follows:(1)The 62 watermelon germplasm resources had extensive genetic diversity for agronomic traits.The coefficient of variation was between 6.2% and 51.5%.The largest coefficient of variation was seed 1000-seed weight(51.5%),followed by leaf length(48.9%),seed number(44.1%)and peel thickness(41.3%),and the smallest coefficient of variation was seed shape index(6.2%).(2)A total of 62 watermelon germplasm characters were identified,and 2418 data and 362 photos were collected.(3)62 germplasm resources of watermelon were collected and sorted.The morphological characteristics,numerical data and trait descriptions of watermelon germplasm resources were standardized to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data and to lay the foundation for the establishment of the watermelon germplasm resources databas.(4)The watermelon germplasm resource database system constructed in this study adopted Microsoft Access2007 development tool,embedded the information of watermelon germplasm resources into the database technology under VBA and C++ language,and obtained an application system that could browse,query,register users and other functions of watermelon germplasm resources.The system security is guaranteed by hierarchical management of user rights.(5)This system queries the basic information of watermelon germplasm,leaf,flower organ,ovary,seed,fruit and other characters,and contains the picture of watermelon germplasm resources,so that users can identify and find data more accurately.The operating system not only has the features of easy operation,strong practicability and simple interface,but also can conduct data analysis on watermelon germplasm resources,providing powerful reference and support for breeding work. |
