| With the continuous development of vocational education in China and the high demand of society for vocational and technical talents at all levels,secondary vocational education,as an important part of China’s vocational education system,has become more and more prominent in the major mission of promoting economic development,promoting employment and solving people’s livelihood.The key role of teaching materials to education gives the important significance to the comparative study of teaching materials.The study and comparison of different versions of livestock and poultry nutrition and feed course materials for secondary vocational education has both theoretical and practical significance to improve the development of secondary vocational education.This study follows the development of the national vocational education reform policy,implements the type characteristics of vocational education,takes the curriculum standard of “Livestock and Poultry Nutrition and Feed” of the middle-level animal husbandry and veterinary profession as the basis,starts from the vocational dimension,knowledge dimension and learning dimension,is guided by the multiple intelligence theory,humanistic theory and constructivist theory,draws on the research results of the comparison of domestic and foreign teaching materials and the comparison of teaching materials of different disciplines,absorbs the teaching materials By drawing on the research results of the comparison of teaching materials at home and abroad and the comparison of teaching materials of different disciplines,absorbing the important experience of the comparison of teaching materials,synthesizing the type characteristics of vocational education,linking the curriculum characteristics and the development trend of teaching materials of the middle-level “Livestock and Poultry Nutrition and Feeding”,using the methods of expert consultation,text analysis and comparative research,we constructed the three-level indexes of the comparison of teaching materials of the middle-level “Livestock and Poultry Nutrition and Feeding” and conducted a comparative study of the teaching materials of the Hebei Science and Technology Edition and the Higher Education Edition of “Livestock and Poultry Nutrition and Feeding”.The aim is to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the two editions of the textbook,to learn from each other,and to provide guidance for the revision of the textbook and its use by teachers.Through qualitative research,it was found that the textbooks of the Hebei Science and Technology Edition and the Higher Education Edition of Livestock and Poultry Nutrition and Feed have the same points in the vocational dimension,knowledge dimension and learning dimension: both attach importance to the lifelong development of students,conform to the cognitive rules of students,and attach importance to the extension of relevant knowledge.The characteristics of each of the two editions:(1)The Hebei Science and Technology Edition emphasizes the teaching of course theory,with more declarative knowledge and relatively less process knowledge.The post-course exercises are rich in types and can meet the learning needs of students with different learning abilities.(2)The textbook is written with a task-driven teaching method,emphasizing the integration of theory and practice,presenting knowledge content in the form of tasks,and emphasizing the contextual and practical nature of learning content.Each task is followed by a learning effect evaluation form and e-learning resources to facilitate students’ thinking and improvement after class.The book is printed in color,highlighting the key points of the textbook chapters.The quantitative study found little difference in teachers’ scores for the two editions of the textbook,and overall satisfaction was high.Finally,this paper puts forward suggestions for the preparation and revision of teaching materials and teachers’ use of teaching materials for the secondary level“Livestock and Poultry Nutrition and Feed” respectively.In the preparation and revision of teaching materials,the vocational dimension should highlight the vocational skills training,the knowledge dimension should reflect the latest industry standards,and the learning dimension should help the generativity of vocational ability development.When using the teaching materials,teachers should understand and study the teaching materials-interpret and integrate the teaching materials-reasonably use the teaching materials-and dynamically optimize the teaching materials to realize the maximum value of the teaching materials. |
