| In the new era and new journey,the world’s new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial changes have put forward new requirements for higher education in various countries.In order to meet the demands of social development in the new era,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that we should accelerate the cultivation of talents in shortage in science,technology,agriculture and medicine,comprehensively improve the quality of talent cultivation,and make efforts to build a strong country for education modernization.China is a large agricultural country,and higher agricultural education is an important factor to promote the development of agricultural industry.Therefore,it is urgent to cultivate agricultural basic research talents,top innovative talents,compound talents,technical application talents and agricultural extension talents for industrial development,so as to form a "top" and "ground" talent cultivation pattern.The "top" and "ground" talent training pattern is formed to meet the development needs of national major strategies such as rural revitalization and agricultural and rural modernization.Talent is the first resource and the basis of a strong country.Speeding up the cultivation of agricultural talents in shortage is the pivot of implementing the strategy of strengthening the country with talents in the new era.Therefore,how to establish a scientific and reasonable analysis framework for cultivation of agricultural scarce talents,identify the core influencing factors of cultivation of agricultural scarce talents,build a high-quality cultivation system of agricultural scarce talents to meet the development and industrial needs of the times,and accelerate the effectiveness of cultivation of agricultural scarce talents is an important proposition for the change of higher agricultural education in China in the new era.Based on the system theory,synergy theory and human capital theory,this paper focuses on the key issue of "accelerating the cultivation of agricultural scarce talents",explores the core influencing factors of agricultural scarce talents cultivation and their relationships,and explores the current situation and problems of agricultural scarce talents cultivation in Chinese universities.Firstly,we summarize the research findings of related literature by literature research method,and extract three key talent cultivation dimensions,namely,cultivation goal,cultivation process and quality assurance,on the basis of which,we establish the initial analysis framework for cultivation of agricultural scarce talents,Based on the analysis framework,we used content analysis to identify the initial factors influencing the cultivation of agricultural talents in shortage;again,based on the results of questionnaire survey and semistructured interview,we used exploratory factor analysis to propose an analysis framework for the cultivation of agricultural talents in shortage adapted to the development of China’s universities,and obtained the following results.Based on the results of questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews,the framework of cultivation of agricultural scarce talents adapted to the development of Chinese universities was proposed,and six core dimensions and 40 key influencing factors were obtained,including cultivation goal,curriculum,teaching method,teaching evaluation,faculty team and internal and external conditions support,and the mechanism of the core dimensions and cultivation quality was explored by combining Pearson correlation analysis,Finally,based on the above discussion,the countermeasures and suggestions for accelerating the cultivation of agricultural scarce talents in Chinese universities are proposed in seven aspects: strengthening top-level design,clarifying talent cultivation goals,optimizing the layout of disciplines and majors,improving the construction of curriculum system,building a high-level faculty,improving the guarantee mechanism and creating a favorable growth environment. |
