Clinical Study On Wentong Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Neurotic Tinnitus Of Kidney Essence Deficiency

Objective: To observe and compare the clinical effect difference between Wentong acupuncture method and twist tonifying method in treating neuronal tinnitus of kidney essence deficiency type,and to provide clinical basis for the treatment of Wentong acupuncture method.Methods: A total of 76 patients were enrolled from December 2021 to November 2022 in the outpatient department of Acupuncture Center,Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Department and inpatient department of Affiliated Hospital of Gansu University of Chinese Medicine,which met the inclusion criteria of this study,The patients were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group(Wentong acupuncture group)and the control group(twist supplement group),with 38 cases in each group.Clinical data were collected at 0 weeks(W)and 4 weeks(W),respectively,and the therapeutic effects of the two groups were evaluated from the aspects of tinnitus Disability Scale(THI)score,Tinnitus Evaluation Scale(TEQ)score and TCM syndrome scoreResults:1.Before treatment,the general data(gender,age,course of disease),various indexes(TEQ,THI)and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups showed no statistical significance after statistical analysis(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.TCM syndrome scores: Compared with those before treatment,total TCM syndrome scores in 2 groups were significantly decreased after treatment(all P<0.01).After treatment,the total score of TCM syndrome in the Wentong acupuncture group decreased more significantly than that in the twisting and supplementing group(P<0.05).3.THI: In group comparison,THI score in 2 groups was significantly decreased after treatment compared with before treatment(all P<0.01);After treatment,THI score in the Wentong acupuncture group was significantly lower than that in the twist and tonic group(P<0.05).4.TEQ: Compared with before treatment,TEQ scores in 2 groups were significantly decreased after treatment(all P<0.01);After treatment,TEQ score of the Wentong acupuncture group was significantly lower than that of the twist and tonic group(P<0.05).5.Total effective rate: After 4W of treatment,the total effective rate of the Wentong acupuncture group was 94.29%,which was significantly better than 86.11% in the twist and tonic group(P <0.05).conclusion:1.Compared with twist and tonic method,Wentong acupuncture method can significantly reduce THI score,TEQ score and TCM syndrome score of patients,and can effectively improve clinical symptoms of patients.2.The total clinical effective rate of the treatment of neuronal tinnitus caused by kidney essence deficiency with Wentong acupuncture is obviously better than that of twisting and tonifying method.3.The treatment of neuronal tinnitus caused by kidney essence deficiency with Wentong acupuncture has the functions of tonifying kidney and nourishing essence,dreading meridians,clearing ears and benefiting hearing,with considerable clinical efficacy,strong implementability and high clinical promotion value.
