As an important part of contemporary archaeological research,gender archaeology has been developing in China for more than 20 years.Drawing on previous research results and research methods,this paper discusses some gender-related issues around the three sites of Dawenkou Culture in the Central and Southern Shandong Province:Dawenkou in Tai’an,Wangyin in Yanzhou and Jianxin in Zaozhuang,and further deepens the research on Dawenkou from the perspective of gender knowledge of issues such as cultural social relations and social structure.This paper is divided into three parts and seven chapters.The first part is a review of the academic history and an overview of the materials,including the first and second chapters of the thesis.The author briefly reviews the development of gender archaeology in the west and China,and summarizes the research focus and research methods of gender archaeology.The basic materials of the tombs of the three important Dawenkou Culture sites in Tai’an Dawenkou,Yanzhou Wangyin and Zaozhuang Jianxin in the Central and Southern Shandong area are summarized to provide material support for the following analysis,and at the same time,the staging of materials is briefly explained.The second part is the main body of this paper.The author analyzes the differences,characteristics and evolution of gender relations from the perspectives of gender and space,population structure,identity,and customs,including chapters three to six.Then,next chapter analyzes the relationship about gender and space from two aspects of cemetery and burial chamber.The tomb space is further divided into three parts:the direction,shape and scale of the tomb.The population structure in Chapter 4 includes sex ratio and age structure.The fifth chapter analyzes the identity status of different genders from the number of burial objects,production tools,and special burial objects area.The fifth chapter will analyze the customs of men and women in daily life from decorations,burial customs,burial style and burial order.Chapter seven is devoted to the issue of gender inequality.Combined with the analysis content of the second part,it analyzes the property and development of the gender inequality in Dawenkou Culture.In the conclusion part,it briefly summarizes the research on cultural gender in Dawenkou,Central and Southern Shandong Province,puts forward the challenges and deficiencies currently faced by gender archaeological research,and puts forward prospects for future development. |
