| Zhang Hu is a well-known poet in the middle and late Tang Dynasty.Contrary to his fame,his career of seeking an official is bumpy.Like most of the literati in the Tang Dynasty,Zhang Hu had the ambition of serving the country,but the attempts all failed.However,his intercourse,mentality and creation are all closely related to politics.Therefore,the relationship between the politics in the middle and late Tang Dynasty and the creation of Zhang Hu is worthy of in-depth investigation.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter,limited to the period of Yuanhe,starts with the deeds of Zhang Hu’s Ganye in the years of Yuanhe,discusses the characteristics of Zhang Hu in the determination of Ganye targets and the selection of Ganye methods,then analyzes the creation of Zhang Hu’s Ganye poems and the factors affecting the results of Zhang Hu’s Ganye;The second chapter discusses the influence of the party struggle on Zhang Hu’s official-pursuing in Changqing,explores the deep causes of Zhang Hu’s failure to seek an official,and analyzes the influence of the party struggle on Zhang Hu’s mentality and creation;The third chapter focuses on the Ganlu incident,investigates Zhang Hu’s deeds when the Ganlu incident occurred,analyzes Zhang Hu’s thoughts and views on the Ganlu incident,and then interprets the change of Zhang Hu’s poetry creation after the Ganlu incident;The fourth chapter focuses on Zhang Hu’s seclusion life in his later years,discusses the complex factors that promote Zhang Hu to seclusion,and investigates the diversified features of Zhang Hu’s seclusion life and seclusion poetry.In the research process,the article pays attention to the combination of Zhang Hu’s deeds and the specific political historical facts of the middle and late Tang Dynasty,strive to study Zhang Hu’s political fate under the background of politics in the middle and late Tang Dynasty,explore the changes of Zhang Hu’s political mentality and poetry creation in different stages. |
