Xinjiang river basin,located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province,is the main traffic road of Fujian、 Zhejiang and Jiangxi.There are many mountains,many mountains and little land,dense rivers,water transportation is very convenient,the unique geographical environment nourishes the culture and customs with local characteristics.Since the implementation of one-port trade(1757—1842),Xinjiang shipping has ushered in nearly a hundred years of prosperity,driving the local social and economic changes,its change process with strong characteristics of the times and regional style.The superior climatic conditions and the smooth flow of water system have laid the foundation for the development of Xinjiang shipping;the unique geographical position highlights the importance of Xinjiang shipping channel;the progress of shipping technology provides technical support for the development of Xinjiang shipping;the prosperity of transit trade brought by one port trade provides a historical opportunity for the development of Xinjiang shipping.Xinjiang shipping took this opportunity to prosper,to the local social economy has brought all aspects of the impact.In this paper,the main stream of the Xinjiang river and its main tributaries flow through the region as the research center,from the perspective of shipping to study its impact on local society.It is divided into four parts to discuss the Xinjiang shipping and local social and economic changes from different angles,focusing on the natural geographical features,the evolution of administrative region,the location advantage of shipping development,commodity circulation,the change of population class and the development of town.The first part mainly describes the natural and human environment of Xinjiang river basin;the second part focuses on the location advantages of Xinjiang shipping development under the one-port trade policy;the third part expounds the characteristics of Xinjiang shipping cargo transportation from the perspective of commodity circulation;the fourth part through the changes of population and class.The rise of towns and guild halls,as well as customs,environment and social public welfare undertakings to discuss the impact of Xinjiang shipping on local social and economic changes,trying to describe the historical outline of the region under the influence of shipping development,and sum up historical experience.Provide historical reference for the economic development of the real society.
