The Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education(Grading Standards)is a programmatic document to guide teaching, learning, testing and evaluation, and an important reference for international Chinese teaching activities. It not only provides norms for the compilation of teaching materials, but also provides a scientific basis for the revision of teaching materials.Based on the Grading Standards, this paper uses Ponddy Dictionary and Chinese Test Service Network to conduct a comparative study on Boya Chinese(Elementary)which has a certain influence in the field of international Chinese teaching from the two aspects of the quantity and grade of the "four-dimensional benchmark" of syllables,in which the four-dimension benchmark includes syllable,Chinese character, vocabulary and grammar. The research found that the syllables required to be mastered in the vocabulary list and proper noun list of the Boya Chinese textbook have a high overlap rate with the elementary syllables in the Grade Standards, and the coverage rate of the first-level syllables and the second-level syllables exceeds 90%.The number of Chinese characters required to be mastered is slightly higher than that of elementary Chinese characters in the Grade Standard, but the coverage rate of first-level and second-level Chinese characters is relatively high. The vocabulary is much higher than the primary vocabulary of Grade Standards, but the coverage rate of elementary vocabulary is very low, among which the coverage rate of secondary and tertiary vocabulary is less than50%.The number of grammars is lower than that of elementary grammars in Grade Standards, and the proportion of overlapping grammars is relatively low,and the coverage rate of third-level grammars is only 27%.Through the statistics and analysis of syllables,Chinese characters, vocabulary and grammar that listed in Grading Standards but not included in Boya Chinese,it is found that the numbers that were not included in the book were 48,123,1234,and 118 respectively. After a comparative study, this paper found that Boya Chinese has the advantages of high coverage of elementary syllables and Chinese characters, relatively concise vocabulary annotations, and relatively uniform grammar distribution. However, the the quantity and grade of the "four-dimensional benchmark" need to be further optimized. In addition, using the enlightenment brought by the comparative study,we put forward constructive suggestions with certain reference value for the revision and compilation of Chinese textbooks from the aspects of textbook content selection, textbook supporting resources, textbook and HSK docking, etc. It is hoped that this study can provide reference and basis for the compilation and improvement of textbooks in the future, and contribute to the construction of international Chinese textbook standard system. |
