In recent years,some extreme vicious events have triggered social thinking about college students’ moral education.The key content of college moral education is the shaping and training of prosocial behaviors.Prosocial behaviors include sharing things you own with others,providing help to strangers,and cooperating with other people,donating and comforting others,all behaviors that can have a positive impact on society or bring certain benefits to others.The current researches on prosocial behavior of college students still focused on the discussion of the mechanism of action and influencing factors.Based on this,this study intends to revise the Prosocialness Scale for Adults compiled by foreign researchers and conduct related applied research.Expand the current research content in the field of prosocial behavior to provide reference for the evaluation of moral education and mental health in colleges and universities.School adaptation is the result of students’ performance,attitude towards school and participation in activities.The quality of these three aspects of adaptation results reflects the degree of school adaptation of students.Resilience refers to the phenomenon that individuals can still produce good adaptation or smooth development results even in the face of various crises.Existing theoretical studies have found that there is a significant correlation among resilience,prosocial behavior and school adaptation,but current research has seldom discussed the relationship of these three variables.Carrying out research on the relationship of the three variables can enrich the research in related fields and provide reference and reference for the practice of mental health in universities.This research is divided into two parts.Part one selected three batches of samples for the revision and localization of the Prosocialness Scale for Adults.In the first test,436 college students from a university in Tianjin were selected and tested by using the translated adult prosocial scale.The results of the item analysis indicate that the items that did not meet the psychometric requirements were deleted and the official version of the scale was determined.In the second test,576 college students from a university in Tianjin were selected and tested by using the revised Prosocialness Scale for Adults,the Scale of School Adjustment for College Students,Emotion Regulation Self-Efficacy Scale,Prosocial Tendency Scale,and Chinese Big Five Personality Questionnaire.The pleasantness subscale was used as a test to verify the reliability and validity of the revised scale.In the third test,223 college students who participated in the second test were selected.Four weeks after the second test was completed,the revised adult prosocial scale was used for testing.The data obtained was used to verify the reliability of the scale.The second study is the preliminary application of the revised adult prosocial scale.827 university students from Tianjin,Shanghai,Hainan and other places were surveyed.The revised Prosocialness Scale for Adults,the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale and the Scale of School Adjustment for College Students were used for testing.The data obtained was used to analyze college students’ prosocial behaviors and mind.Resilience and school adaptation levels and differences,and study the relationship of the three variables and their mechanism of action.The conclusions of study 1 and Study 2 are as follows:1.The reliability and validity of the revised Prosocialness Scale for Adults were good,which met the requirements of psychometrics.2.Significant differences were found in resilience,prosocial behavior and school adaptation among student cadres.Student cadres had significantly higher prosocial behavior,resilience and school adaptation levels than non-student cadres.3.Significant differences were found in resilience,prosocial behavior and school adaptation among different grades.The level of prosocial behavior of freshman is significantly higher than that of sophomores and seniors;the level of resilience and school adaptation of juniors are significantly higher than sophomores and seniors.4.The resilience and school adaptation level of the high prosocial group were significantly higher than the low prosocial group.5.There was a significant positive correlation between resilience,prosocial behaviors and various dimensions of school adaptation.6.Prosocial behavior and psychological resilience could predict school adaptation.7.Prosocial behavior played a part of mediating role between the two variables of resilience and school adaptation.
