| Chinese character teaching is a very important part in the teaching of Chinese to speakers of other languages,but learners have great difficulties in learning Chinese characters.Therefore,researchers have carried out various researches on Chinese character teaching.After contacting and using word puzzle in teaching Chinese characters to foreigners,I found that there are rich contents.On this basis,the author has carried out the design and application of word puzzles in the teaching of Chinese characters to foreigners.First of all,the author analyzed and summarized the relevant theoretical basis and teaching theoretical basis of word puzzles by studying relevant literature,and at the same time summarized the characteristics of Chinese characters and the principles of word selection and design for the application of word puzzles in the teaching of Chinese characters to foreigners.Then,the author took "Chinese Reading Course(3rd Edition)Book 1" as an example,carried out the preliminary analysis of the teaching and the selection of word puzzles,a list of word puzzles is designed according to different teaching purposes in various ways,and showed the design plan of the early,middle and late stage of teaching.Finally,the author practiced and recorded the designed teaching activities in specific courses,and summarized the teaching practice through self-observation and reflection,questionnaires and interviews,and found that word puzzles are more attractive to learners and can help them learn learn Chinese characters.According to these,some suggestions for improvement are put forward.First,teachers should improve their linguistic accomplishment.Second,teachers should fully consider the situation of students before applying word puzzles.Third,teachers should fully consider the content of teaching materials and curriculum settings in teaching design,applying word puzzles at appropriate teaching stages.Fourth,the application of word puzzles in the teaching of Chinese characters can also be continuously expanded.The innovation point of this article is that the author not only studies the select principles and design principles that teachers should follow before the application,but also selected a textbook for the selection of word puzzles.This makes the word puzzles and Chinese character teaching closer.At the same time,based on Ganine’s teaching process design model,this article takes the teaching design and practice of the author’s own practice,which makes the application of word puzzles in the teaching of Chinese Characters more feasible and targeted. |
