Research On Image-building Of The Writer In Documentaries

In recent years,a number of excellent documentaries showing the image of writers,such as Swim Until the Sea Turns Blue,The Hometown of Literature,Literature Daily,etc.,have gradually entered the audience’s vision.This kind of documentary focuses on distinct characters and tells the living style and living situation of the subjects based on the real life of individuals or groups.The shaping and construction of characters play a great role in the documentary’s transmission of speculation and humanity.The expression of the connotation of a character documentary also depends on the shaping of characters’ images.To shape and construct full and three-dimensional character images in documentaries requires creators to combine audio-visual language with narrative strategies,dig deep into the details of the characters’ lives,and look at the real life of the subjects,thus giving the characters unique image connotation and conveying humanistic concern.Writer is a profession with a long history.It generally refers to those who can take cultural creation as their career,and also refers to those who have famous achievements in literary creation.Culture revitalizes the country,and culture strengthens the nation."Cultural workers show new connotations in the new era.The focus of this thesis is on the image building of the documentary "writer",detailed collation of literature on the image building of writers,mainly from the narrative means,audio-visual language,text interpretation and other aspects of the writer’s image building methods,integrating the experience of literature,film and other art forms in the image building of writers,but also combined with the current environment.To explore the young presentation way of the writer’s image in the documentary under the current media context.This thesis consists of four chapters,and makes a detailed study of the writer’s image in the documentary.First of all,the author first defines the concepts of documentary,character image and artistic image in the first chapter of this thesis,and then uses the experience of image building in comprehensive art to expound the significance of writer image building.On this basis,the author summarizes the developing trend of "writer" image shaping in modern and contemporary art.The second chapter to the fourth chapter of the thesis is written according to the logic of the production before,during and after.The second chapter of the thesis focuses on the preliminary topic selection and narrative strategy of the documentary with writers as the main object of shooting.In this chapter,combined with Bilibili and other Internet platform works as examples,it discusses the early presentation way of the "writer" image in the documentary.The third documentary from the perspective of visual language,and compares the character documentary works of the same topic to study their gains and losses in audio-visual language.The last chapter focuses on the "writer" image shaping strategy in the later stage of film and television,including the material management in the DIT stage,the color management in the fine cutting stage,the application of auditory language,etc.In addition,the thesis also summarizes the problems and deficiencies in the research,hoping to play a guiding role in my graduation works,and provide reference and inspiration for documentary works showing the writer’s style.
