Feminist writing is an important content of feminist literary criticism, and its development is largely related to the development of feminism due to its distinct gender awareness and close relationship with readers.Since the 1990 s,the writing of female writers in China has entered a prosperous period, but the progress of feminist writing has been twists and turns, and the reasons for this situation are multifaceted.Like many Western theories, feminist writing is in controversy, and scholars in both China and the West often hold different opinions on this issue. However, the results of this debate are positive and valuable for feminist writing. From the end of the last century to the new century, female writers such as Zhang Jie,Zhang Kangkang,Wang Anyi,Liu Sola,Tie Ning, and Cui Weiping have all issued declarations similar to “I am not a feminist”,questioning the writing of feminist positions. However, there is no doubt that the content from a female perspective in their works, especially when critics analyze these “female”content, they mainly focus on the part of female experience in the works,It is precisely these “female” factors that make the work as “feminist literature/feminist literature” that critics refer to.Looking back at the history of feminist literature, many female writers in both China and the West have included rich female experiences in their creations. These experiences belong to individuals and are not just hidden or superficial. These excellent works show the value of rich and unique female personal experiences in feminist writing.Of course, among many feminist literary criticism theories in the West, the personal experience of women has been a concern for many feminist critics. However, due to the lack of theoretical construction,it has gradually become silent. In order to break through the problems faced by feminist writing,it is necessary to rediscover the powerful weapon hidden in feminist literary criticism in the past-the personal experience of women. This article consists of an introduction and three main chapters: The introduction section describes the origin of writing and distinguishes keywords such as feminism, women’s writing, and feminist writing; The first chapter discusses the three important concepts of gender in feminist literary theory and their arguments from the three issues of female essentialism, androgyny and gender poetics; The second chapter analyzes the reasons for the difficulties in feminist writing under gender poetics from four aspects: “The should and should of feminist literary creation theory”,“The application of body writing theory and its loss in China”,“The rise of female writers and internal disputes among female writers”,and “The proposal and annihilation of female personal experience”.The third chapter points out that the way out for feminist writing is to revisit women’s personal experiences, and to demonstrate the value and significance of women’s personal experiences in breaking through the dilemma of feminist writing in the context of gender poetics from three aspects: theory(“body” and “situation”),literary works(autobiographical novels by Hong Ying and Natasha Wading),and value(vigilant against the return of patriarchal tradition and enhancing the thickness of female literature).
