The thorough liberation of all humanity was the lifelong effort and mission of Karl Marx.Since the birth of Marxism, the ideal of human emancipation has inspired a group of intellectuals to consciously undertake the historical mission, continuously exploring and elaborating on the rich connotations and value kernel of Marx’shuman emancipation ideas, urging Marxists to continue exploring the objective laws of human social development, and using it as a guide for action to construct an ideal future society. This paper aims to examine and illustrate the formation conditions, main contents, development process, and implications for modern society of Marx’s ideas on human emancipation.By reflecting on and examining the process of human emancipation, this study aims to demonstrate the scientific and truthful nature of Marx’s ideas, strengthen the ideal of communism, and provide scientific theoretical support for the Chinese socialist cause. This research is conducted from the perspective of a Master’s program specializing in Marxism. The first part of the Marxist master’s thesis discusses the formation conditions and theoretical sources of the formation of Marxisthuman emancipation ideology. This chapter explains that Marxisthuman emancipation ideology is not a whimsical imagination, but deeply rooted in reality, and it sprouted from the deep concern for the toiling masses. In the history of human emancipation ideology,Marxist human emancipation ideology is the logical successor of Western culture, but Marx has a fundamental difference with past philosophers on issues related to human emancipation ideology. He sinks into the human reality world, standing at the height of historical materialism to address the problem of human emancipation, achieving the unity of scientific, practical, and theoretical aspects. The second part of this Master’s thesis focuses on the development process of Marx’s thought on human emancipation. This chapter describes in detail what Marx meant by human emancipation, the natural path to achieve it and the highest level of emancipation.Marx exposed the false promises of bourgeois political thought regarding human emancipation and dialectically examined the relationship between political and human emancipation. He expanded the concept of political emancipation to include multidimensional forms of emancipation such as economic, labor, and spiritual emancipation.Ultimately,Marx believed in freeing individuals from the constraints of nature, society and the self, and returning to the original state of free and comprehensive development. The third part of this thesis explores the process of human emancipation. This chapter examines the practical and theoretical challenges and expansion of Marx’s concept of human emancipation since its inception, aiming to expound the scientific nature of Marx’s ideas and affirm that Marx’s theory of human emancipation is based on realistic scientific deduction. On the practical level,it evaluates the socialist movements that utilise Marx’s theory of human emancipation as an intellectual weapon. On the theoretical level,it first elucidates the Western scholars represented by Bernstein and Marcuse, who have extended and questioned Marx’s human emancipation concept, and then responds to the irrationality of such criticisms as "Marxism is outdated".The fourth part of this Master’s thesis on Marx affirms the dual significance of Marx’s ideas on human emancipation in both theory and practice in contemporary times. The key to the evergreen vitality of Marx’s ideas on human emancipation lies in its combination of lofty idealism and practical reality. This unity allows its relevance to transcend historical and spatial limitations and continue to guide China and the world today. It is the banner that leads the Chinese nation to achieve great rejuvenation and a lighthouse for the future world. The persistence of Marx in the cause of human emancipation has strengthened our steps towards a bright future, human emancipation, based on the foundation of free and comprehensive development for every individual,is crucial for the well-being of people all over the world. However,we are still on the long and arduous journey towards human emancipation, and arriving at the ideal of communism requires every one of us to work hard and move forward with courage and determination.
