Exploration Of Expressive Forms In The "Desert Romance" Series Of Oil Paintings

This article discusses the freehand brushwork and creative process of the series of oil paintings "Desert Style".The styles and forms of oil painting creation are diverse,and oil painting freehand brushwork is a form of expression that integrates the spirit of Chinese painting freehand brushwork.Senior artists such as Lin Fengmian and Wu Guanzhong have conducted long-term and in-depth research and practice,accumulating valuable experience for us to continue exploring.Afterwards,the famous painter Tomos practiced oil painting freehand brushwork from another perspective and developed a distinct personal style.His creative style has had a great impact on my oil painting creation.The term "freehand brushwork" is a unique form of expression in Chinese painting,and freehand oil painting fully absorbs the spirit of freehand brushwork in Chinese painting.In terms of composition,emphasis is placed on rhythm and rhythm,which means that sparse areas can be relaxed while dense areas cannot be ventilated,leaving a large blank space in the composition form.In the design,the expressive objects are highly summarized and refined,with the simplification of complexity and the use of deity to depict the form.The artistic effect of combining form and spirit,creating a vivid and vivid atmosphere,is pursued.In color expression,emphasis is placed on originating from life and adding color according to the category,but it is not limited to life.Emphasis is placed on subjective feelings,achieving a unity of subjectivity and objectivity.This article takes the "Desert Style" series of oil paintings as an example to explore the expressive forms and language of freehand brushwork oil paintings.The "Desert Style" series of oil paintings use tall and simple camels as the main image for oil painting creation practice.The main text is divided into four parts.The first part provides an overall overview of freehand brushwork oil painting,including a brief analysis of the concept,development process,and artistic characteristics of freehand brushwork oil painting.The second part discusses the style of representative painters of Chinese freehand brushwork oil painting,and focuses on analyzing the influence of Toumusi on my own creation.The third part explores the creative process of the "Desert Style" series of freehand oil paintings from four aspects.Specifically,it is manifested in the selection of themes and the creation of expressive forms,the collection of materials and the exploration of freehand brushwork forms,the creation of composition and shaping forms,and the composition of screen colors and strokes.The final part is the completion stage of the series creation,focusing on the creative process of the "Desert Style" series of oil paintings,and providing an overall improvement and summary of the final work.
