Research On The Design Of Visual Recognition System For Ancient Cities Based On Regional Characteristics

In today’s society,our understanding of the world is not only through textual information,but also through visual information.With the emergence of issues such as excessive assimilation,lack of local characteristics,and memory points among ancient city scenic spots,the visual image design of ancient cities has gradually been valued as a soft competitiveness.How to create a unique and highly recognizable visual image of ancient cities,stand out from numerous ancient city scenic spots,improve core competitiveness,and disseminate local characteristic culture is a problem that many ancient cities are currently facing,and it is also an inevitable requirement for the sustainable development of ancient cities.This article aims to explore the innovative design of regional characteristics in the visual recognition system of ancient cities,using points to create a distinctive brand image of ancient cities,and systematically expressing the regional characteristics and cultural heritage of ancient cities.Firstly,summarize the relevant theories of the visual recognition system for ancient cities,analyze excellent cases at home and abroad,and summarize their design experience.Secondly,based on the perspective of the regional characteristics of Zhangjiakou Buzili,this thesis analyzes the current situation of its visual recognition system,summarizes its existing problems,deeply explores the regional characteristics of Buzili,and explores the design positioning,principles,and strategies of Buzili’s visual recognition system from the perspectives of cultural dissemination,brand image construction,keeping up with the trend of the times,and developing the tourism industry.Finally,extract the unique visual elements of Buzili,and use design elements such as graphics,text,color,and composition as the starting point to carry out the design practice of Buzili visual recognition system.From both online and offline perspectives,construct a Buzili visual recognition system with regional characteristics,showcase the charm of Buzili brand image to the public,promote the material and spiritual civilization of Buzili characteristics,and provide new ideas for the design of ancient city visual recognition system in the future.
