The cultural industry and tourism industry are two closely related and mutually supportive industries. In recent years, with Beijing clearly proposing the development strategy of "cultural tourism integration" in the five-year plan, the relationship between the cultural and tourism industries has attracted widespread attention.Without the infusion of culture,a journey will become empty, and without the participation of tourism, culture will be difficult to spread. When there is cultural participation in tourism activities,it is like a dead tree in spring, being given a new life; When culture is brought to every corner of the world by means of tourist activities, the civilization of mankind keeps on developing.Beijing is the capital of China, and culture and tourism are very important in our country. Therefore, the research on the integrated development of culture and tourist industry in Beijing is significant. This article takes the integration of Beijing’s cultural and tourism industries as the research goal.Firstly,it summarizes the existing literature, fully understands the research on industrial integration at home and abroad, clarifies the research scope of this article, sorts out the relevant concepts of the cultural and tourism industries, and determines that the theoretical basis of this article is based on the theory of industrial correlation and coordinated development. Then, based on data from 2005 to 2020,the integration of cultural and tourism industries in Beijing was analyzed, and it was concluded that the integration of cultural and tourism industries in Beijing is mainly concentrated in four aspects: ancient capital culture, red culture,Beijing style culture, and famous school culture and tourism.Furthermore, using a distance synergy model based on grey correlation, the development status of the cultural and tourism industries in Beijing from 2005 to 2020 is analyzed. The degree of integration between the cultural and tourism industries during this period is calculated and evaluated, and the Growth curve model is used to predict the degree of integration in the next four years.Next,PEST analysis will be used to select influencing factors from four perspectives: politics, economy, society, and technology.Fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis will be used to explore the necessary conditions for a high degree of integration. Finally, relevant conclusions were drawn and corresponding policy recommendations were proposed. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The development of Beijing’s cultural and tourism industries is good and there is a phenomenon of integration. At present, its integration mainly focuses on the integration of ancient capital culture, red culture,Beijing style culture, and famous school culture with tourism.(2)The overall development level of the cultural and tourism industries in Beijing is on the rise, and due to the impact of the epidemic, the level of integration has decreased from good integration to basic integration. It is expected that by 2024,Beijing will achieve a high degree of integration of the cultural and tourism industries.(3)The high degree of integration between Beijing’s cultural and tourism industries requires policy support,a higher per capita GDP level,a lower average concentration of inhalable particulate matter, and a higher level of technological innovation. In response to the above conclusions, this article proposes the following four suggestions:(1)Cultivate professional talents proficient in Beijing culture, improve industrial innovation capabilities, and support the development of culture and tourism;(2)Emphasize the guiding role of the political environment;(3)Developing new forms of cultural and tourism development and expanding channels for cultural and tourism development;(4)Integrate cultural and tourism resources to create distinctive tourism routes.
