| The mid and late Ming Dynasty was a highly turbulent era,accompanied by social transformation and changes,and literary and artistic creation,guided by the trend of individual liberation and art,constantly broke through the shackles and denied traditions,showing a vigorous and diverse development vitality.Social transformation has nurtured the artistic nature and spirit of the times of "strangeness".It is in this special historical period that the artistic concept of advocating "strangeness" germinated and prevailed,affecting people’s thinking activities such as their views and cognition of art.Looking back in the past,"strangeness" had broad standards and diverse forms,and various types of art in the mid and late Ming Dynasty took "strangeness" as the creative principle and evaluation standard.The art of calligraphy is deeply influenced by the concept of "advocating novelty",revealing an aesthetic imperative of seeking novelty and advocating diversity in calligraphy thoughts and practices,providing an ideal space for the study of "advocating novelty" artistic concepts and artistic trends in the mid and late Ming Dynasty.This article takes the concept of advocating "strangeness" in calligraphy as the research object,using comparative and documentary research methods,to investigate the calligraphy thought and calligraphy practice of advocating "strangeness",with a view to making a specific and comprehensive explanation of the artistic concepts and trends of thought in the mid and late Ming Dynasty,while revealing the artistic connotation and evolution laws behind it.This article analyzes the background of the artistic trend of thought in the mid and late Ming Dynasty,summarizes the impact of economic,political,ideological,and cultural factors on the artistic trend of thought,and clarifies that the common phenomena occurring in different art categories are the result of the joint action of social and cultural backgrounds and artistic trends.Tracing back the origin and evolution of "strangeness",it is found that the concept of advocating "strangeness" originated from the rebellion against orthodox ideas,representing the aesthetic imperative of seeking novelty and advocating difference.At the same time,it further elaborates the evolution of artistic concepts under the artistic trend of thought in the mid and late Ming Dynasty,showing a shift from emphasizing "emotion" to advocating "novelty".It is clarified that the spiritual essence of advocating "novelty" originates from the psychological foundation of emancipating the mind and expressing true feelings,accompanied by emotional catharsis and flaunting individuality.Finally,it summarizes the development logic and evolution laws of art,presenting a cyclic development process. |
