A Comparative Study Of Chinese And Russian Traditional Festival Symbols Under The Theory Of Ternary Relation

Since ancient times,the Spring Festival has been a symbol of Chinese traditional festival culture,providing a crucial window into the intricate culture of living and bearing a wealth of cultural significance and history.This allows people to adjust to the needs of production and living,thus creating a kind of folk culture,inheriting a national spirit,and living habits that are capable of expressing emotion.Since antiquity,the Spring Festival has been a symbol of Chinese traditional festival culture,providing a vital insight into the culture of heavy living.The Chinese New Year and the Russian Maslenitsa Festival are the two most significant and celebrated traditional festivals in both countries.This study,utilizing the Chinese Spring Festival and Russian Maslenitsa Festival behavior symbol as its research object,is based on the ternary relationship theory.Through comparative analysis of the two festivals,it seeks to uncover both similarities and differences,and to apply the ternary relationship theory to the application of cross-cultural communication.To begin,the Chinese New Year behavior symbol,Russia’s winter section behavior symbol of systematic combing and summary,and the connection between the ternary relationship theory and holiday behavior symbol were all examined.This demonstrates the practicality of studying behavior symbols under the ternary relationship theory.Secondly,this study selects and defines the behavior symbols of Chinese Spring Festival and Russian Maslenitsa Festival.Furthermore,this study systematically explains the behavior symbols of the Chinese Spring Festival and the Russian Maslenitsa Festival through the "symbolic form","symbolic object" and "symbolic interpretation item" in the ternary relationship theory.And through the previous research symbol object is divided into "folklore",the concept of "harmony","worship object","blessing heart" four aspects are systematically discussed,according to pierce himself to the symbol classification of interpretation into "direct interpretation","dynamic interpretation","final interpretation" three aspects are analyzed,and by dividing the dimensions,this study amalgamates the ternary relationship theory and the characteristics to compare the similarities and differences of the behavior symbols in sending them to the Maslenitsa Festival.
