The phenomenon of learning burnout of junior high school students has been paid more and more attention. In this study,Wu Yan et al.’s Adolescent Learning Burnout Scale was used to investigate the students in the three grades of a middle school in Yinchuan. The results showed that most of the students surveyed had good learning psychology, but there were a few mild burnout students and a few severe burnout students. The burnout level of students in grade 3 is higher than that in Gradeland Grade 2.At the same time, there is no significant difference between class cadres, urban and rural areas and only children. In order to investigate the influencing factors of students’ learning burnout, this studySelected Rosenberg self-esteem Scale and Huang Xiting’s Coping Style Scale for Middle School Students for investigation, and conducted interviews. The questionnaire results showed that both self-esteem and coping style predicted academic burnout to some extent, and self-esteem played a mediating role between academic burnout and coping style. In order to reduce the level of learning burnout, according to the analysis of the students current situation and influencing factors, combined with relevant theories. We conducted an intervention study based on mental health classes supplemented by individual counseling. After eight weeks of intervention,Wu Yan,Dai Xiaoyang et al.’s "Adolescent Learning Fatigue Scale" was used again for pre-and post-test comparison, and it was found that learning burnout in the experimental group was effectively improved and the expected effect was achieved. From the subjective feedback of the league assistants,we can see that the league members were encouraged and increased their interest in learning, and their satisfaction was relatively high. Finally, according to the research objectives and conclusions, the author puts forward several suggestions:first,we should pay attention to individual students with severe learning burnout to prevent more students from this situation;Secondly, attention should be paid to the cultivation of students’ self-confidence.Thirdly,intervention can be carried out in the form of mental health class.
