Research On Film Copyright Value Evaluation Based On Improved Income Method

The film industry with rapid development is regarded as an essential component of the cultural market.Film rights,as key assets of the film industry,have valuation challenges due to their unique qualities.The growth of the film business necessitates that practitioners make fair use of intellectual property assets for funding,which unquestionably raises the bar for evaluating film copyright assets.This paper points out the significance of copyright value evaluation for the development of film industry and asset evaluation industry.By comparing the traditional evaluation methods,the applicability and shortcomings of the income method in copyright evaluation are clarified.And the traditional income method is improved from different paths.This paper examines the film box office revenue,which accounts for the majority of the film copyright value,and applies the concept of integrated learning to related sectors.Using 100 films as examples from 2016 to 2021,13 influencing elements are chosen to develop a random forest model,and the model’s prediction accuracy is compared to improve film box office prediction further.Improve the accuracy of income forecasting to improve the income technique.Simultaneously,widen the meaning of film copyright value,consider the income risk value derived by asset managers’ following decisions as part of film copyright value,and enhance the potential undervaluation of film copyright when utilizing the traditional income technique.This paper explains the basic concept of option pricing and proves the feasibility of relevant real option models by studying the option features of cinema copyright.The real option technique is used to increase the accuracy and objectivity of the film copyright value evaluation.Random forest prediction is used to calculate the usage value of film copyright.Simultaneously,various data are fed into the option model to determine the option value of film copyright,and film copyright value evaluation findings are obtained.Finally,choose an actual case for examination and compare it to similar cases in related markets to evaluate and analyze the findings.This article uses the income method and the real option method to analyze the worth of film copyright.The relevant proposals are made based on the research process to provide a reference for film copyright finance and support the development of the film industry.And it will promote the development of the asset evaluation industry.
