| The Opera Manon Lescaut is the first truly successful work of Puccini,an Italian composer.It is also the first opera to reflect Puccini’s emphasis on the logic of plot development and show his ability of screenwriting rigor.The musical creation of the play integrates the characteristics of French Lyric Opera and highlights the tradition of Italian opera dominated by vocal singing.Through this work,Puccini established his own theme and style of opera creation,which laid the foundation for his later opera creation.The Aria "covered with soft curtains" and "lonely,I fall,abandoned" are the two representative character aria of the heroine Manon in the opera.The two Arias play a vital role in undertaking the transformation of drama plot,highlighting the characterization and expressing the characters’ thoughts and emotions.The theme of this paper focuses on the role shaping characteristics of the heroine Manon and the singing analysis of the main aria.In terms of content,firstly,it analyzes and combs the changes of character characteristics,emotional consciousness and image characteristics of Manon in the development of opera plot,and summarizes the characteristics of Manon’s role shaping.Secondly,according to the different musical characteristics of the two aria works,this paper analyzes the works from three aspects: music processing,singing skills and emotional expression.Finally,combined with the personal singing practice of the two works,this paper discusses the learning harvest,so as to provide learning reference for vocal music learners to interpret the two aria works more accurately. |
