Evaluation Of Film Copyright Value

At present,cultural competition is becoming increasingly fierce,and with the continuous in-depth integration of economy and culture,intellectual property rights have become an important resource.In the context of "Internet +",the film industry,as a cultural industry’s vital part,has new possibilities,and "IP" has become a hot word in the industry.As the world’s largest film market,China has broad development prospects and excellent box office revenue.However,if we want to build a healthy film industry,and improve investment and financing status,it is essential to improve the evaluation of film copyrights.Now,the evaluation research related to the value of film copyright in our country is not rich enough,a complete evaluation system has not yet been formed,and there is a lack of an industry-recognized standard.Based on this,this paper analyzes the affecting variables of film box office revenue and evaluates the value of film copyright.The research background,significance,content and innovations are presented first,followed by a review of domestic and foreign literature on film industry chain,box office affecting variables,and film copyright valuation.Second,it introduces theories and concepts,and analyzes the applicability of three traditional evaluation methods in film copyright evaluation,focusing on the main parameters of the income method.After analyzing the factors that affect the movie’s box office income,the box office revenue of the movie is used as the explained variable,and the seven factors of director and cast,movie rating,screening times,release schedule,distribution company,IP factor and movie type are used as the explanatory variables.Build a movie box office revenue prediction model through multiple regression.Then taking the film The Battle at Lake Changjin Ⅱ as a case,the film copyright is evaluated by the revenue sharing method,and the rationality of the previous prediction model is verified.Finally,the entire text is summarized and the outlook is put forward.This work,based on earlier research,innovatively adds IP factors to the movie box office revenue prediction model,hoping to improve the scientific nature of movie box office revenue prediction and movie copyright value evaluation,provide a valuable reference for intellectual property transactions,and help the further developments of movie industry evaluation industry.
