Shang Shu-Wu Yi is a representative chapter of the Book of Zhou,which is an important historical document on the socio-political life of the early Western Zhou Dynasty,as the Duke of Zhou taught King Cheng to be diligent and carefree,to be sensitive to the feelings of the people,to protect the people and love them,and to reprimand himself and save them.As the last feudal dynasty in Chinese history,the Qing Dynasty was an important era for academic summaries and an important period in the history of academic and cultural thought,and the study of the Shangshu reached an unprecedented height in depth and breadth,and a large number of scholars and works on the treatment of the book emerged.A comparative study of the exegesis of the chapter Shang Shu-Wu Yi by ten representative scholars of the Qing Dynasty and their writings selected according to the criteria of era,school and type can help to comprehensively examine the exegesis of Wu Yi in the Qing Dynasty,sort out the exegetical characteristics of the ten Qing scholars of Shang Shu,and provide reference for the study of Shang Shu by the present generation.The study of this paper is divided into four parts:The introductory part introduces the origin and significance of the topic,explains the selection criteria of the ten Qing scholars and briefly introduces the authors of the ten Qing scholars and their representative works,outlines the current situation of the study of Wu Yi and the study of Shang Shu in the Qing dynasty,and then discusses the significance and methods of the comparative study of the exegesis of the ten Qing scholars of Wu Yi.The first chapter introduces the common approaches of the exegesis of Wu Yi by the ten Qing schools.The first section introduces the ten Qing exegetes who use jinshi materials to verify the different texts,explore the etymology,and explain the meaning of words;the second section introduces the ten Qing exegetes who seek training based on book evidence to reveal the inter-character relationship;the third section explains the ten Qing exegetes who attach importance to phonetic relationship to interpret the meaning of scripture and break the common falsehood.The second chapter reviews the individual characteristics of the exegesis of the ten Qing schools.The first section reviews the exegetical philosophy of Wu Pai Huidong and Jiang Sheng,which is based on the Han and the ancient;the second section reviews Wang Mingsheng’s use of a large number of historical documents to verify the names;the third section reviews Duan Yucai’s emphasis on exploring the morphological meaning of words,deducing the complex morphological evolution,and examining the differences between the ancient and modern texts;the fourth section reviews Sun Xingyan’s evidence without citation,the theory must have evidence,and choose the good,not blindly follow one;the fifth section reviews Yu Yue and Wu Rulun’s focus on Section Ⅴ reviews of Yu Yue,Wu Rulun focus on contextual relationships to examine the meaning of words,Duan Yushi,Yu Yue long in the examination of evidence,citing the Bible,a precise examination of the search for the right;Section Ⅵ reviews of reviews of Pi Xirui,Wang Xianqian and Wu Rulun focus on the identification of sentence reading,unblocking the meaning of the sentence,identify the purpose of the chapter,test the meaning.The third chapter is a review of the exegesis of the ten Qing families.The first section reviews the achievements of the ten exegetes of the Qing Dynasty in terms of the richness of the material and the pragmatism of their argumentation;the second section reviews the ten exegetes of the Qing Dynasty in terms of their over-praise of the ancient commentaries,their excessive use of sound and falsity,their circuitous interpretations,and their errors in interpretation.This paper reveals the common methods and individual characteristics of the ten Qing schools in the exegesis of Wu Yi through the analysis of specific examples,and on this basis,refines the exegetical characteristics of the various schools and stages of the study of Shang Shu in the Qing Dynasty,which has certain significance for the exegetical practice of Shang Shu today.
