Report On The Practice Of Chinese-English Simultaneous Interpretation Of Foreign Minister Wang Yi's Answers To Press Conference Questions At The 2022 Two Session

This report is based on the press conference given by state councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi during the Fifth session of the 13 th National People’s Congress.It is a report written by the author after the practice of Chinese-English consecutive interpretation.The corpus mainly covers Sino-foreign cooperative relations and the future trend of economic and trade development.Through interpretation,analysis and modification after interpretation,the author believes that there are three kinds of problems reflected in the practice: the problem of improper logical processing of the target language,the problem of redundancy of the target language,and the problem of improper pauses in the target language.The first problem can be solved by manifestation of logical relations and logical reconstruction.The second problem can be solved by the method of combination and omission.And the third problem can be solved by reasonable prediction and explanatory translation.Through the practice of interpreting,the author combined theory with practice,had a more profound understanding of Skopos theory,and used the theories learned to solve the problems encountered in interpreting practice,so as to improve the interpretation level,and provide some reference for future interpretation practice.
