Chinese character teaching is an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and Chinese character learning is also the difficulty of foreign students’Chinese learning.Therefore,how to teach Chinese characters as a foreign language and how to improve the effect of Chinese character learning is one of the key points of teaching Chinese characters as a foreign language.This paper selects the common component "mu" as the starting point,and selects the Chinese characters composed of"mu" in the HSK Standard Course as the teaching content to carry out Chinese character teaching for foreign students,hoping to reduce the difficulty of Chinese character learning for foreign students and improve the effect of Chinese character learning for foreign students.This paper is divided into four chapters,each of which is as follows:In the first chapter,this paper collects and counts the characters composed of"mu" and words in Volume 1-6 of HSK Standard Tutorial,and analyzes the 42 Chinese characters composed of "mu" in the textbook from the perspective of word-formation and form,sound and meaning,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for teaching.In the second chapter,this paper searches the HSK dynamic composition corpus and the Chinese continuous interlanguage corpus labeled with Chinese character errors,collects and statistically analyzes the error corpus generated by foreign students when writing 42 "mu" component characters,and classifies the writing errors of "mu" component characters by Chinese learners into three categories:stroke errors,component errors,and whole character errors,Based on the situation of foreign students’ writing errors,sub categories of corresponding types of errors are divided,and the reasons for Chinese learners’ writing errors are analyzed from three aspects:the characteristics of Chinese characters themselves,learner factors,and teacher teaching factors.The intention is to identify the areas where Chinese learners are prone to errors when learning "mu" component characters,and to determine the key and difficult points of teaching,in order to carry out targeted teaching design in the later stage.In the third chapter,this paper selects the characters composed of "mu",which appears frequently,is commonly used and has a high error rate,as the investigation content to design the questionnaire,and issues the online questionnaire to the middle and advanced level Chinese learners,with a view to further understanding the acquisition of the characters composed of "mu" by the middle and advanced level international students,and the problems existing in the learning of the words by the middle and advanced level international students,In order to design teaching more pertinently.In the fourth chapter,first of all,the advices for the teaching of the characters composed of "mu" to foreigners are summarized,and the design of the teaching scheme of the characters composed of "mu" to foreigners in the middle and advanced stages is carried out,with a view to systematically,scientifically and pertinently carrying out the teaching of "mu" component characters.
