An Analysis Of The Errors In The Answers Of The Contestants Of The “Chinese Bridge” Competition And Its Implications For The Teaching Of Chinese To International Student

The "Chinese Bridge" competition is a large-scale international Chinese language competition organized by the China Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.It aims to further promote Chinese culture,enhance people’s awareness and deep understanding of China around the world.From 2002 to 2021,20 competitions have been successfully held.This article takes the answer situation of the contestants in the 18 th,19th,and 20 th "Chinese Bridge" competitions as the research carrier.By watching video materials and reading relevant literature,it first introduces the competition system settings of the18 th,19th,and 20 th competitions,and compares the changes and question types of the three competitions.Secondly,it collects and categorizes the errors that the contestants encountered during the answer process,and further analyzes the reasons for the errors by listing specific examples,Finally,based on the types of errors encountered by the contestants,summarize the inspiration for Chinese language teaching for international students,optimize teaching methods,and propose feasible teaching suggestions.
