With the continuous rise of the development of education informatization and networking,network communication,multimedia and database technology provide a good environment and technical regulations for the development of education modernization.The continuous updating of educational content based on information technology has become the new normal of the development of ’ Internet + education ’mode,which makes teaching activities enter the information age.On this basis,the problem-based teaching mode with the help of Internet resources came into being,and provided an opportunity for the teaching reform of ’ Hotel English ’ course in secondary vocational schools.The WPBL teaching mode refers to the Web-Problem Based Learning under the network environment.This mode emphasizes the process of guiding students to solve problems by group cooperative inquiry learning with the support of network teaching resources,taking students as the main body of teaching and taking problems as the guide,which can create a convenient communication mechanism and a good learning environment for students.Based on this,this study selects Guangxi Erqing Technician College as a practical case,tries to apply WPBL teaching mode to the teaching of ’ Hotel English ’ course in secondary vocational schools,and then demonstrates and analyzes the teaching effect and teaching problems,in order to improve the teaching method of ’ Hotel English ’ course.This study focuses on the current development of ’ Hotel English ’ course teaching informatization in secondary vocational schools.By analyzing and combing the relevant literature of WPBL teaching mode at home and abroad,based on the relevant theories of WPBL teaching mode,this paper comprehensively uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and classroom observation method to carry out research,analyze and summarize the current situation of ’ Hotel English ’ course teaching in secondary vocational schools;the WPBL teaching mode is fully integrated into the course content of ’ Hotel English ’ for teaching design and teaching practice,including the construction of network teaching resource platform,the creation of teaching problem situation,group learning and cooperative inquiry,learning achievement display and evaluation reflection,and the teaching practice summary and reflection are carried out.Finally,the corresponding teaching suggestions are put forward.The research results show that the WPBL teaching mode is feasible in the teaching practice of " Hotel English " course in secondary vocational and technical schools.Specific performance : First,students ’ academic performance and classroom performance have been greatly improved.At the same time,the application of this model can effectively stimulate the learning interest of secondary vocational students,promote the improvement of classroom attention,and optimize students ’ autonomous learning ability,cooperative inquiry ability,thinking and problem-solving ability.Second,promote the professional development of secondary vocational teachers.WPBL teaching mode enriches teaching resources and means,which is conducive to teachers ’ innovative teaching ideas,improves their knowledge reserve,teaching ability and scientific research ability,and urges teachers to establish the concept of lifelong learning.Thirdly,the application of WPBL teaching mode in the course of ’Hotel English ’ in secondary vocational schools can enrich the reform of curriculum teaching mode in secondary vocational schools and promote the diversified development of teaching mode in vocational schools.In summary,the application of WPBL teaching mode in the teaching of ’ Hotel English ’ in secondary vocational schools is a meaningful teaching exploration and attempt,which provides a useful reference for the development of teaching informatization in secondary vocational schools.
